And Every Night I Feel That I'm A Winner...

The end of an era UFO's last concert in the UK after 50 years.
Unfortunately it was to be Paul Raymond's
last ever performance as he sadly passed away a few days later.
Good setlist with a variety of songs from different eras of the band.
The first half of Rock Bottom is missing
otherwise it's an excellent sounding show and performance.

Ride The Rainbow,Crack The Sky...

Listed as The Definitive Nagoya 1975.
It's a fairly decent sounding show by
Deep Purple mark 4.
From their last Japanese tour
until the mark 2 reunion in the mid 80s.
Good set list with plenty of tracks from the excellent
Come Taste The Band album and
long jams as you would expect.

Saturday I Go Out To Play...

An excellent sounding show from Gary's Blues period in 2001.
Good performance full of blisteringly Bluesy guitar solos.

Saying Everything Is Groovy...

A compilation of live in the studio tracks recorded at the
BBC by the legendary British Blues Rock Band of the 60s.
Featuring of course Jeff Beck, Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood.
It's 24 tracks long with the sound quality going from good to excellent
and many of these songs would feature on the 1968 classic album,Truth.

Ready For History's Pages...

Good sounding DVD audio of Motorhead on the 1991 Tour of Germany
promoting the1916 album.
Featuring Phil Campbell and Wurzel on guitars.
Lemmy on the bass and vocals,
with Phil Taylor on drums.

I'm Coming Through...

Here is another one from Michael Schenker's, My Years In UFO 2025 Tour.
This time in London with new vocalist Erik Gronwall.
Similar set to previous post with a slightly better sound and split tracks.
Good lively performance with Michael in fine form.

I Should've Walked Away...

Tonight was one of those gigs I was unsure about as it was being advertised as "an acoustic evening" which normally sends alarm bells in my head zzzzz. But quelle suprise I really enjoyed it with enough electric guitar to keep me happy.I have always liked them with 'broadcast' being one of my favourite Soft Rock albums from the 80's and as expected they played their HIT song as well as a great selection of new and well chosen covers.Glad I popped along...Enjoy,Ed.

A Storm Is Brewing...

Now I did not expect this...For 50 mins I was transported back to the 80's.
Hair Metal at it's best with screaming vocals, lightning fast guitar playing,
every song with heavy riffs and a huge chorus
and even a bass player spitting blood
in a new venue not to disimilar to the old Wardour Street Marquee Club.
Tonight was one of those special gig nights we've all had
at some point when you leave totally
buzzing and in my case feeling YOUNG...Enjoy,Ed.

I Wanna Love You Night And Day...

Some more of that easy listening Rock from The Grateful Dead.
This time from way back in '64.
Few covers on this one and a
good listen if you want to chill...Man!
