We'll Pick You Up And Take You Away...

This release features the 2 shows from Boston’s 1977 appearance in Long Beach on March 16th – ‘Early Show’ on CD1, and “Late Show” on CD2.
The concert was broadcast for the King Biscuit Flower Hour while the band were making their studio album Don’t Look Back, their second multi-platinum release, which was released that year.
Such a high quality live recording of Boston in their prime reveals that the polish and power they displayed on their studio recordings could be translated to the stage and was arguably even more compelling.
With an emphasis on material from their classic first album plus exclusive live-only tracks like ‘Shattered Images’ and ‘Television Politician’, this is a must listen for all Boston and classic rock fans.
King Street ‘Alive The Live’ proudly presents the entire and original FM broadcast professionally remastered. Sound quality is excellent.

world class singer.
Maybe better known for all the hit ballads
they had but they could Rock out too.

I Don't Want You To Work All Day...

Hey, I got this one, sound quality is Questionable. ...Bad Company
Los Angeles, Inglewood Forum
May 16, 1976
"Led Company meets Bad Zeppelin"

Our taper either only had one C 90 cassette tape with him, or – more likely – Pagey's and Plant's appearance after the actual show for a joint encore with Bad Co was such an unexpected surprise that didn't give him the time to dig up the second tape. At any rate, he simply flipped the cassette back to side A to capture this historic moment for posterity – despite taping over the first two numbers in the process (LIVE FOR THE MUSIC and GOOD LOVIN‘ GONE BAD). A real pity the two numbers are lost of course but at the same time that was clearly a case that necessitated a quick decision in favour of a lesser evil, I'say - and at least most Zeppanatix might agree. You can certainly hear well how the audience seem to go blotto in delight as the two Zeppos show up. :-)

Music Played Inside My Head...

Jeff Lynne's ELO with an exclusive live performance at the BBC Radio Theatre in 2015. Featuring Turn To Stone, Evil Woman, Showdown, All Over The World, Living Thing, Strange Magic and Don't Bring Me Down.

I re-encoded this from a TS file, was amazed how clear and smoothe the outcome was! I decided not to split the files, 'cause I would spoil this show. I compared this to 2 other versions I had of the same show, this one came out on top! So....I share this great performance with you, I hope you enjoy this as much as I do. Rick
