Just One Golden Earring...
This Was Released as a DVD and an Accompanying CD Back in 2008 (And Has Gone Out of Print)... The Covers Included are for the CD, But There's More Tracks Included in the D/L Than Listed!
NOTE: Don't Let The BIG BAND Part STOP You From D/Ling This. It's a Big Band, But a GREAT BAND! They are Top Notch Musicians That Can Play ANYTHING! They Do Swing When Needed AND They Rock When Needed, as well!
Barry Hay Is a Great Singer and Here He Sings a Bunch Of Songs He Likes (Includin' Songs from Golden Earring...)
Just Look at The Song Titles (Yep. Those Songs ARE The Ones You Think They Are!) That Barry Chose to Perform Live...
This Is Highly Recommended for Those That Like a Variety of Music Styles!

Secret of Your Beauty, Was Your Moontan...
This One's from 1983 - The Year of Twilight Zone! (The song was released in Late '82 and spent about 6 months in the U.S. Charts before peaking at #10!)
You Can Tell Sometimes When a Band was Popular or had a Hit, By the Amount of Concert Recordings for a Particular Year or Couple Years! Then there might be a Big Gap (In Years) between Shows!
Golden Earring for Instance: There's Several Shows on and around 1974 (Radar Love) and Around the Time of This King Biscuit Show, But Other Years are Much Harder to Come By!
What I Like About This Concert is that Vanilla Queen was performed, which is a long song that has Three Distinct Sections or Parts to It! A song in Three Movements: There's a Beginning, Middle and End to It...
Also, The Earrings play The Devil Made Me Do It which is a Quite Funny, Tongue In Cheek, Kinda Song that takes place in a Courtroom!?! "You Honor, I Am Innocent!"
And They Close with Heartbeat, a Song They Probably Didn't Play Live Very Often! (Even Though, This IS NOT the Actual Order These Songs were Played in Concert!?!)
It's a Short Concert, just about 50 minutes, But the First Three Songs Clock In at Over 10 minutes Each! There's Guitar, Bass and Drum Solos durin' these Songs as well!
The Reason Is That ONLY These Songs were Broadcast by KBFH (With Commercials It Makes a Nice & Neat Hour Show) Even though Golden Earring Played More Songs at The Actual Concert This FM Recording Comes From!

Been Drivin' All Night...
Here's an Excellent Golden Earring King Biscuit Flower Hour Show from Detroit's Famed Cobo Arena (Hall) from 1974!
To the casual Listener of Golden Earring, Several of the songs performed here will be Unfamiliar to You...Many Folks just Know Radar Love & Twilight Zone, as those were their 2 biggest Hits here in the States!
But in The Netherlands and in Europe - They have been much more successful!
Golden Earring is one of My Favorite Bands, Along with Deep Purple (Blackmore Eras) Blue Öyster Cult, Cheap Trick, Etc.
NOTE: to make the Umlaut Sign (the Two Dots) over the Capitol "O" - All You Have to Do Is: Press & Hold the ALT Key and Type 0214 on the Number Pad Then Release The Alt Key...
I have Many Golden Earring Live Recordings to Post, But I Figured I'd Start with the Earliest, Best Soundin' One! (Meaning I have some Earlier Ones, But the Sound Quality Is Not As Good!)
ANOTHER NOTE: Golden Earring IS One of the Longest Runnin' Bands Ever! They were formed in 1961 (YES! I said 1961!) and released their 1st Single and Album Way Back in 1965 as The Golden Earrings! Their Current Line-Up have (In One Form Or Another) been together since 1970!
Even IF You just Check it out for Radar Love, That's Fine!
Hopefully, You'll like Some of the Other Songs as Well!
