Rock Now Rock The Night...

 Swedish Melodic Rockers live in,uh,Sweden.
A fine band they had a fair bit of success
back in the day.
Especially with the monster hit The Final Countdown.
They Rock pretty hard live it's an enjoyable listen.

The Past Is Gone...

The boys from Aerosmith on the
Toys In The Attic Tour.
1975 vintage.
It's a great album but not their best
that would be the next one.
Great show,great sound.
Back In The Saddle!

We'll Ride Them Someday...

 Here's another Stones compilation.
Mostly acoustic stuff and pretty cool.
The start of the first song is a
little crackly but after that it calms down.
Vinyl Rip.

Get Back JoJo...

A short but sweet acoustic set
from Classic Hard Rockers,Thunder.
An excellent audience recording.
From Germany 1995.

It Is The Night...

 More Metal.
This time from Saxon.
What a setlist here (hey,I like Ride Like The Wind).
A great live band and they've released a
few classic albums in their time.
Feel the Power!

Better Run From The Devil's Gun...

 Very good audience recording.
Girlschool from Glasgow,Scotland
back in 2013.
Not all of their albums hit the spot
but they've always stuck at it.
More power to them.
This was presented by Trucker Dave (low bridge ahead)
& Beastie.
C'mon,Lets Go!!

It's Been A Long Time Since I Did The Stroll...

Cool little show from Heart back in 1982.
From the German RockPop TV show.
They're in fine form and with Ann Wilson singing
you can't go far wrong.
What a talent.
They finish things off with a cover
of the Led Zeppelin classic.

New link
I've fixed it so Tell It Like It Is
isn't repeated.

You Gotta Shoot It For Me...

There's a great discussion in the comments of
the last UFO post.
With UFOSteve & Robbo trying to nail down the correct
date(s) of the Headstone album.
Cool stuff.
No such discussion here, classic UFO from '75.
According to the announcer there is someone by the
name of Michelle Schenker on guitar.
Too funny!

You Really Like My Limousine...

 Kiss on the Destroyer Tour.
From Cleveland '76.
Capitalising on the success of Alive!
Our masked heroes are making a break for the top.
Klassic!!

Done Dirt Cheap...

The Hard Rock Boogie Legends on
The Flick Of The Switch Tour.
From Detroit 1983.
Easily my second favourite album from the
Johnson era.
Massive riffs, raw production and a good
selection of songs.

Brainshake!!

Blondes Have More Fun...

One of the biggest bands to come out of that
New York,New Wave/Punk Scene.
Blondie.
They were never off the TV or Radio when I was growing up.
They seemed to have hit after hit.
A fine band with one of the coolest frontwomen ever.
From London,1980.

When It's Time To Rock...

UFO Steve Sez:

like the official release Headstones

You're Putting On Your Bedroom Eyes...

I'm dipping into Eddie's recordings once more.
This time REO Speedwagon from London 1985.
A band who had huge success in the early 80's
and part of that classic US Melodic Rock scene.
Anyway a couple of sound issues here & there
but it would seem Eddie was in a pretty good
spot for this one.And the audience are really in to it.
Enjoyable.

The Ohio Hard Rockin' Blue Collar Biker Band:
The GODZ!

Live In Concert at The Agora in Cleveland, Ohio!

Broadcast on WMMS-FM as well...

They Play Songs from Their First Couple of Albums...

Of Which The First One Is a Classic!

Of Course, They Play the Awesome
Gotta Keep A Runnin' as the Closer!

Enjoy and Play It Really LOUD!

I Want My MTV...

Here's another one from the Live USA series of bootlegs.
Dire Straits, with the phenomenal playing of Mark Knopfler.
No point having a great guitarist if you don't have the songs.
Luckily they do & lucky for us.
Like I said before I didn't appreciate this stuff at the time
but I do now.

Ali McGraw Is Mad With You...

Nice little eight tracks here from The Stones.
Recorded in Newcastle & London
during the Goats Head Soup Tour.
Mick Taylor's still in the line up,
weaving his magic.
Untouchable.
Vinyl Rip.

Better Get It Right First Time...

Nice Audience Recording of NAZARETH!

Live on the Expect No Mercy Tour...
(What would be the LAST Tour of the Original Line Up!)

This IS a JEMS Recording and He Made Some
Really Good Ones Back When!

Also, I Didn't Realize Naz Did Cocaine
Acoustic Like That, That Early!?!

The Thing I Like BEST 'Bout This Bootleg
IS The Song Selection!

Many You'd Expect, Of Course...
But, Many Fairly Rare Ones as well...

Also, There's a 21st Song Included,
But It's Incomplete, So It's Not Listed Here!

Enjoy and Play It LOUD!

You've Got To Lose To Know How To Win...

Nice Aerosmith compilation of acoustic (& electric)
tunes.Something old, something new (at the time)
and something borrowed.
One of the best bands ever as has been discussed,
up to a point.
For me after the PUMP album their
output has been pretty patchy.

A Footstep Behind You...

Excellent audience recording of early Maiden
from London back in 1980.
Very enjoyable
with plenty of crowd interaction.
Of course their next album with Bruce Dickinson
would propel them to the premier league.
Where they've pretty much stayed ever since.

Lord Have Mercy, You're the Baddest Thing Around...

Here's a Favorite (or Favourite) 'Round These Parts...
CRY OF LOVE!

This Is a Very Good Audience Recording of the
Band in London Back in 1994...

Everything is Good and Balanced, NOT Muddy
NOR Tinny...But, Pretty Full Soundin'...

Sounds Like One of Those
"You Were There" Type Recordings!

The Crowd Is Rowdy and Showin' Their Love of
Cry Of Love Rockin' The Place...
In ALL The Right Parts!

Pretty Standard Setlist For This Time Period,

EXCEPT for Mini-Skirt Minnie, an Old

Wilson Pickett Song (I Believe!?!)...

This One's Worth It For That Alone...

And, IF You're One of The ONES
Into This Band...

You Know You WANT IT!

Enjoy and Play It LOUD!

Armed and Ready in Derby...

UFO Steve Sez:

Very good audience recording

The Michael  Schenker Group

on their first UK tour in 1980.

With the classic lineup of

Michael Schenker, Cozy Powell, Gary Barden,

Paul Raymond and Chris Glen

Test Drive in Tokyo...

Here's a Kinda Unique CARS Concert...

It's Supposedly a King Biscuit Show...

But, It Doesn't Sound Like The Usual KBFH Sound...

BUT, It's Still Really Good Soundin'...

Also, It's From the Panorama Tour...

Live in Tokyo, Japan in 1980!

Plus, There's a Few Extra Live Versions...
(Alternate Takes for the Recording!?!)

Take It Or Leave It!

Enjoy and Play It LOUD!
