An Archer and a Guitarist...

Laurence Archer Is a Great Guitar Player...

You May Remember Him from the NWOBHM

Band, Stampede...One of My Favorites!

Or, Maybe with Phil in Grand Slam...

Or His Brief Stint with UFO...

This Is a Solo Album He Made in 1986...

It's a Really Good Album...

It's Got an 80's Sound to It...

It Took Me a Few Listens to Really

Appreciate How Good It Is...

The Songs Are Good with Some

Great Guitar Work as well...

Enjoy and Play It LOUD!

Dedication (I Dedicate It)...

The Boys Are Back In Town and they were rather good.

Although the crowd was a bit sparse that

didn't stop them playing as if it was their last gig.

And in Lawrence Archer they have a top guitarist,

they are just about to start recording their 2nd album.

I hope they can move away from the Lynott/Lizzy overtones

and stamp their own sound.

Enjoy,Ed.

Fight 'til You Win Don't Give In...

A headline and support show this time.

Brought to us once again by EDDIE.

First up the smooth Melodic sounds of FM.

And somebody who hasn't lost their voice.

Steve Overland,a quality performance.

In fact the whole band give us a master class.

Supporting FM are Grand Slam.

Yep,Phil Lynott's old band.

It doesn't sound as bad as you would think.

In fact they sound pretty great.

Probably because the songs still sound sweet.

Featuring Lawrence Archer on guitar.

I Put My Money In A Suitcase...

Just found this when I was looking through

some stuff.A cool compilation featuring

Phil's two bands.

the best!

Sun Goes Down...

After the sad demise of Thin Lizzy,Phil put

Grand Slam together.

Pretty good they were too.

Here they are at the Marquee (Eddie's local it would seem!)

Who knows what Phil would've went on to do

if he'd stayed with us?
