Set Me Free...Again!

NEW LINK

(Thanks To Derek from Paris)

Mediafire

This Is a Decent Audience Recording...
(NOT The Best or Worst, But Somewhere In Between...)

It's SWEET on the Level Headed Tour...

Live from the Spectrum...

In Philadelphia in 1978...

Most Songs are Their Classics...

Some of You Might Wanna Hear Them
Play a Cover of Cocaine...

It's Worth Hearin' For Those That
Still Love Sweet!

'Cause I'm the Main Man...

NEW LINK
(Thanks to Derek from Paris)

That's The Old Artwork From Way Back...

Found It On Discogs...

BUT...

I Did Some Work on the Sound...

From a Different Source...

Oh, And I Split Action and AC/DC
Into Separate Tracks as well...

SO...

I Made Some NEW Artwork!

Hear What You Think?

'Bout The Wink!

Set Me Free...From You...

NEW LINK

Derek (from Paris)
has provided this new link for Gman or
anybody who now wants to grab it.
That's how it's done.

Sweet Live At Sweden Rock...

Well, This Was Probably Put Together
After the Festival, With the Way the
Interview Segments Are Inserted...
(Which Are Short and Go With The Flow...)

I Was Suprised At How Heavy And Good Soundin'
Sweet STILL Are, After ALL These Years!

Sweet Sold a CD Similar to This on Their
2014 Satisfaction Guaranteed Tour...
(It Had 2 Other Songs Instead of The Interviews...)
((I've Included That Artwork in the D/L...))

IF You're STILL Readin' THIS...

STOP!

And Go D/L It!

Yep. You'll Dig It!

Get Too Much You Get Too High...

Gig #101 of the year for me tonight..jeez that's something I have not done since the 80's and I will NOT be doing again as it's getting harder on my old bones ha ha...it's been fantastic and I've been fortunate to see some great bands old & new WITH only 2 walkouts (SUGERHILL GANG...the old hip hop fan in me felt let down..."put your hands in the air and scream"...every 5 mins...jeez just play the complete song FFS...and THE SOAP GIRLS who were just awful...(if you're gonna play on the live circuit at least learn to play your instruments and not rely on good looks.) ANYWAY what a great way to end the year I just love SWEET and as I said on last years post they are heavier live than on record,as you would expect all the hits are here with a couple of new songs...great stuff...enjoy,Ed.

Set Me Free...

YES... Sweet are still going and myself and few
hundred others tonight are glad they are, shamefully
having never seen them before I ventured
along with an open mind with a little niggle
thinking this might be a Butlins special but how wrong was I?!!
Sweet definitely Rock and yes I know they have
been playing this set for the last 100 years but
it didn't matter they played them loud and heavy
and they still have those amazing harmonies...
great night..enjoy,Ed.

How SWEET It Is...

A Most Excellent SWEET Concert!

Live from 1976...

Probably One of The Best Soundin'
Ones From The WINK Tour!

Not Sure Why I Have It in 2 Parts...
BUT,
Be Sure to D/L Them Both,
Then You Can Put Them Into
1 Folder, Etc.
As It ALL Fits on 1 CD...

It's Definitely Worth It!

That Openin' Riff to
Burn On The Flame
STILL
Burns After ALL These Years!

Part 2

And The Music Was Soothing...

 As the title says,Outtakes.
Excellent stuff from one of our fav bands
at HRC.Ahead of their time in many ways
especially in production & harmony vocals.
But,mostly they'll be remembered for
great catchy songs.
Their Hard Rock period should've put them up there.
It was as good if not better than anything else
going on at the time.

And They All Started Grooving...

Another out of print Sweet cd.
Containing live tracks from Japan.
Yep,the same as the Live In Japan cd.
But,this also contains a healthy dose of demos.
Good collection if you like to Rock out to Sweet.

Everybody Needs A Main Attraction...

More from Japan,this time Sweet.
Going by the songs should place it as 1976
on the Give Us A Wink Tour.
A band that should be mentioned in the
same breath as all the other great 70's Rock Bands.
They had a strange career starting off as a bubblegum pop band.
(Not for me).
Then big success during the UK Glam scene.
I love all the Blockbuster,Hellraiser stuff.
They really came into their stride when they started doing
their own thing.Just great quality Hard Rock.
So it says on the cover this is a soundboard.
If it is it's pretty rough. It's listenable,I enjoyed it
and it shows how heavy Sweet were.
Maybe not one for the casual fan.
Out of print.

Are You Ready, Steve?

Just In Case You Missed This One

As a teenager in the 70's, Sweet were a part of the soundtrack to my life!

This concert was recorded for the German TV show Musikladen back in 1974.

It's only 9 songs and runs about 40 minutes...
But it's Raw & Rockin'

But, IF you're as old as me, then it'll take you back and make you remember WHY you liked Sweet in the first place!

Couldn't find any artwork for those that still make CDs, if there are any anymore?
So, I made this fairly quickly for me to burn a CD to listen to and keep in my collection...
What you do with it is up to you...
