He Was A Hero To Me...

A really lively performance by Waysted
on the Save Your Prayers tour.
With the excellent Danny Vaughan on vocals and
Paul Chapman really cranking out the guitar solos.
A one track 50 minute audio file of the band supporting Status Quo in 1986.

We're The Boys We've Got Nothing To Lose...

NEW LINKS

Waysted live in Denmark back in 1983.
Led by the legend that is (was) Pete Way.
Another great Rock band that never got as far as they should've.
A pretty good audience recording
with original vocalist Fin.

Come On Back Now Do It Again...

NEW LINKS

We're back into Eddie's Collection and
another good recording.
Waysted from '85 at the legendary Marquee club.
In front of a rowdy crowd, sounds like a great night.
Fin has gone for reasons forgotten and
replaced by Danny Vaughan.
Still a great band!.
A couple of UFO classics to finish with and joined
for the last song by a couple of the
Maiden Boys.

We'll Do It All Again...

Sound starts off poor but soon levels off
into an enjoyable show.
Pete Way's second band and very good they were too.
Mostly not straying too far from that classic UFO Hard Rock style.
Here they are captured in Scotland at a two day music festival.
Featuring all Scottish bands it would seem.
Nazareth,Pallas & Frankie Miller to name a few.
Tape Rip.

Shine A Light For Me...

Waysted  promoting the Save Your Prayers
album in the USA.
Opening for Iron Maiden on their
Somewhere In Time tour.
A Very Good sounding audience recording with
Danny Vaughan on the vocals and
Paul Chapman showing once again what a good
guitarist he was.Despite extensive touring
as support act for the likes of
Iron Maiden, Ozzy Osbourne, Motley Crue,
Dio and Status Quo the band
 never really broke though
and the band ended by late 1987.
Until reforming in 2000.

You Ride To Where The Highway Ends...

Waysted live at a small Glasgow venue featuring some
new songs from the album at the time - The Harsh Reality.

their organised chaotic way.

Turn It Up...Louder & Louder!

UFO Steve Sez:

Waysted

Save Your Prayers demos

The Paul Chapman Tapes

 Apparently the story goes

Chapman wanted the finished album to sound

more like these demos

with the guitar higher in the mix

and a less polished sound

so these are the demo versions

with a couple of tracks that didn't make the album

NOTE: I Usually Don't Like To Interfere in UFO Steve's Posts in Any Way...
BUT, I Have To Say - You NEED To Hear The Guitars on THIS ONE!
