Slow You Down,You Gotta Try...

Listed as a Soundboard recording (slight background hiss)
from the End Of The Road tour of 1984.
This was supposed to have been the last ever concert
but of course as we know the band had reformed by 1986.
Not the full concert but about
1 hour 35 minutes of classic Quo.
The recording is a one-track MP3 file split into 2 Files
to fit on 2 cds.

Rolling 'til The Break Of Day...

Gary captured by Radio Clyde at the
Glasgow Apollo back in 1984.
Good to hear Tom Russell's voice once again.
He hosted the Rock Show back then.
Of course Rockers were well catered for back then.
The show was 12.00am until 02.00am.
So it was a bit of a struggle to stay up.
Man I miss those days!!

You Just Set My Soul On Fire...

Magical stuff from Led Zeppelin in 1970.
Of the Led Zep III vintage.
A classic album full of that light and shade
they were known for.
Great performance and sound here,
all four members working as a tight but loose team.
A one of a kind band we will never hear their like
again.Well, unless you listen to Greta Van Fleet that is.
Boom!

It's Good To See You Again...

Two eras from one of the most
successful of Rock bands.
A couple of Radio Broadcasts.
One capturing an early Leppard from 1979.
The other from their home
town of Sheffield in 1996.
Both very different,both excellent.

or

We Can't Do It Any Other Way...

It's Danger Danger and they're on the radio!
A very good Melodic Rock band
and an entertaining performance here.
From Dallas 1990.
A couple of KISS covers included here and
a couple of years later who are they supporting
on the Revenge Tour?

performing live as the Hughes Turner Project.
Promoting the excellent HTP 1 album
and playing classic tracks from their former
bands,Deep Purple & Rainbow.
And one Black Sabbath track.
Pretty good audience recording.

Before The Spirits Meet...

Great audience recording from the Liverpool Empire,UK.
With a changed line up since the 1981 tour
but sounding just as good.
This show features an excellent 14.06
version of ROCK BOTTOM.
With Schenker on fire.

There's Too Much Confusion...

Here's something I found on my hard drive.
A couple of guys I don't know anything about.
I think Rocket maybe sent this my way, years ago.
Anyway it's excellent Blues Rock from
Rob Lamothe & Craig Erickson.
Special mention for the vocals (classic).
A very very good audience recording.

or

Plastic Flowers,Melting Sun...

 Excellent audience recording from the
Masters Of Metal,yep,Black Sabbath.
From Fresno,Cali,on the
Never Say Die tour.
Of course things were falling apart by
this stage for the band. And it wouldn't be
long before Ozzy was given the bullet.
Still,they sound pretty good here.

or

One Nation Under A Groove...

 Alright we're bringin' the Funk!
Parliament & Funkadelic,two groups with
interchangeable members.
Led by George Clinton.
Here they are in Denver back in 1976.
Outrageously dressed and with a big
stage show they certainly bring it.
Great musicianship and plenty of tasty guitar
playing. So if you like that Sci-Fi,
Psychedelic Funk 'n' Roll...

On A Silver Black Phantom Bike...

Here's Meat Loaf performing songs from
one of the most overblown and
pompous albums of the 70's.
Yes! Bat Out Of Hell a classic
and one of the best selling albums ever.
Here we get the early and late shows from
The Bottom Line Club,NYC back in 1977.

Fire In The Sky...

With Glenn Hughes just about to start
(October) the 50th anniversary of the Burn album tour in the UK.
Here is an excellent Glenn Hughes
show on his classic Deep Purple tour in Australia 2017.
A really nice setlist and great to hear
these songs being played live as apart
from David Coverdale nobody else plays them,
not even Deep Purple.
And Glenn's voice sounds amazing even to this day.

Caught In The Ricochet...

This is an old classic UFO bootleg that's
been around for many years.
This version is ripped from my old cd,
it's one of the best from the Chapman era.
An excellent FM radio broadcast on the
No Place To Run tour in Chicago 1980.
It Features 4 tracks off the album
and is another great UFO Chicago show.

Time Is Never Time At All...

Fine show from Alt. Rockers
The Smashing Pumpkins.
On the Mellon Collie tour,
a fine double album I'll still dig
out now and again.
Great sounding show from Vancouver '97.

or

Icicles Within My Brain...

Black Sabbath on the reunion tour from
Los Angeles 2013.And they had an album to
promote,13.Unfortunately Bill Ward wasn't
involved in this.It would've been nice if the
original four could have ridden off into
the (Metal) sunset together.
Audience recording.

A change of pace now from all the Metal
and Hard Rock. It's arty Rockers Roxy Music.

Must Be The Gypsy In Me...

Another show from the right and proper
Whitesnake.Before the big hair
and twiddly guitars!
Another tour, another album and another line up.
From the Slide It In Tour of '84.
A very nice audience recording from
Edinburgh,Scotland.
After the break up of Thin Lizzy our man
John Sykes appears.

or

But Sail Along,Sing Your Song,Carry On...

 Excellent audience recording from the
Sacred Heart Tour,Tokyo 1986.
With (probably) the greatest Heavy Rock
vocalist of all time RJD in fine form.
Viv Campbell played on the album and started
the tour but was booted and replace by Craig Goldy.
The album was fairly successful,unfortunately
the subsequent albums wouldn't sell as well.

or

I'm Just A Soldier Of Fortune...

Listed as the Definitive Soundboard version
and a more complete recording of the classic
Live In The Heart Of The City album at Hammersmith 1980.
A really excellent sound and performance.
For many the definitive line up of Whitesnake.
David Coverdale
Neil Murray
John Lord
Mickey Moody
Bernie Marsden

It makes you wonder
why this wasn't the original release back in the day.
