Come On Back Now,Do It Again...
Here's a reup of a show I posted years ago at a very
low bitrate so here's an all new one at 320kbps from the original download source.
An excellent sounding show from Chicago 1982.
And a slightly different setlist with a couple of
old favourites missing from the set,not that
you notice as the band seem to be in fine form as always,in Chicago.

It's a little rough in places but a good listen.
The only album I have of theirs is
The Method To Our Madness.
I bought it when it came out.Whenever that was?
But! It's a really good album.
Featuring Stiv Bators (Deadboys)
and Brian James (The Damned).

As we all know these guys should've been huge.
They were heads and shoulders above their contemporaries
in terms of songwriting.
But there were many reasons that they didn't get to the Premier League.
Here's the show that a young Lar Ulrich attended.
Hence the title.
Years later he did do them a favour,unfortunately that
was blown as well.

Just to get it out of the way,I'm a big fan of Hysteria.
I know it's not the heaviest of albums.
But it does show what can be achieved when
all that time can be spent on an album.
Here's Leppard playing a home town show at the
beginning of the Hysteria Tour.
Great stuff it is too.
With a mighty fine setlist.
Def Leppard the most successful band of the 80's.
(sales wise?)
They've just released a new album to positive reviews.

First time at HRC I think for Aussie legend
Jimmy Barnes.Or Barnesy as he's know over there.
Great vocalist he'd be classed as a belter.
Getting to Australia like the Young Brothers
and Bon Scott,via Scotland.
This is a promo cd featuring full band performances
and acoustic numbers.
He released some excellent albums at the start of
his solo career.

I think they sound like they're on it here.
Page's guitar work on Since I've Been Loving You
is always spectacular.

We Are The Sultans...
OK not a band I had much interest in.I was
pretty much only into Heavy Rock/Metal when I was growing up.
But! as you grow up a bit (I'm still growing)
quality will out.
What a fantastic guitarist Knopfler is.
Plus they backed it up with quality songs.
You forget how successful they were.
Absolutely massive.
This show is fantastic in sound and performance.

Easily my second favourite album from the
Johnson era.
Massive riffs,raw production and a good
selection of songs.

Hello There,Ladies & Gentlemen...
Here's Cheap Trick gracing the Reading Festival.
Pretty much slap bang in their glory era.
Heaven Tonight,At Budokan and the still to be released
Dream Police.Power Pop at it's finest.
Not much crowd captured on this recording
but by all accounts they went down very well.
