"Led Company meets Bad Zeppelin"

Our taper either only had one C 90 cassette tape with him, or – more likely – Pagey's and Plant's appearance after the actual show for a joint encore with Bad Co was such an unexpected surprise that didn't give him the time to dig up the second tape. At any rate, he simply flipped the cassette back to side A to capture this historic moment for posterity – despite taping over the first two numbers in the process (LIVE FOR THE MUSIC and GOOD LOVIN‘ GONE BAD). A real pity the two numbers are lost of course but at the same time that was clearly a case that necessitated a quick decision in favour of a lesser evil, I'say - and at least most Zeppanatix might agree. You can certainly hear well how the audience seem to go blotto in delight as the two Zeppos show up. :-)

And probably for me even to this day one of their best live recordings.

Now He's In A Rock n Roll Outfit...

OK,I may have mentioned before I don't do tribute bands,

nothing personal everyone needs to make a 

living in this difficult industry but I prefer to 

support original bands who play songs new to my 

ears in a live setting but every once in a while I like

 to go retro and with Mr Hart along with Dave Calwell having done 

their stints with Bad Co. I felt it justified a 

visit along to the Half Moon to hear some of these 

old classics and it was worth the long trip 

down south to this lovely little venue.Great gig.Enjoy,Ed.

 A good audience recording from the 

Straight Shooter Australian tour of 1975.

A setlist full of classic tracks.

Including the non album tracks at the time 

Whiskey Bottle and Little Miss Fortune. 

Overall it's a very enjoyable show.

 Excellent show from Paul as we know,

one of the best vocalists of all time.

This is from something called the 

Nescafe Blues Festival back in '95.

Sound is taken from a dvd but there is some

noise interference during the quieter parts.

Bad Co,Free and Solo songs performed.

Free numbers at Bristol in the UK.

Its Amazing to think that all of these songs 

are now well over 50 years old.

But you wouldn't know it listening to this as 

Paul's voice sounds as bluesy and soulful as ever.
