A Lifetime In One Kiss...

Robin Trower at the grand old age of 80.
On tour in the USA 2025.
An excellent recording and Robin still sounding
as good as ever on his trusty Fender Stratocaster.
A very enjoyable concert with of course the highlights being
the classic tracks from the 1974,Bridge Of Sighs album.

Maybe Things Will Get Better...

Recorded on the long Misty Days album tour for the King Biscuit Flower
hour radio show.in Chicago Illinois 1976.
Appears to be a compilation of broadcasts 9 tracks long.
The sound and performance are excellent
with the show having a real raw vibe and feel to it.

I Saw A Light...

The original Robin Trower live album recorded in
Stockholm 1975 and released in 1977 good as it is
was only a single album.Seven tracks long and
always felt like there was something missing to me.
Especially now I recently came across five
more tracks recorded in Stockholm that could
have been on the album, turning it into a great double live album.

The Eagle Not The ,Dove...

An excellent Robin Trower show
from the,For Earth Below album tour.
This old bootleg has been released in
many different versions over the years
this version is the original (and best).
Complete with the BBC announcer between songs
exactly the same as my old cassette I
recorded off the radio back in 1975.

We Had Time Enough to Spend...

Robin Trower back after a 2 year break from touring
promoting the excellent Victims Of The Fury album.
A decent FM radio recording (some hiss) from Hammersmith 1980.
The band now back as a three piece played a lively rocking performance with the newer songs sounding great live.

A Simple Tune And It Moved Me...

Excellent recording by Dan Lampinski of
Robin Trower on the In City Dreams tour in Boston 1977.
As you would expect plenty of guitar work by
Trower and soulful vocals by James Dewar.
With new member Rustee Allen on
bass and Bill Lordan on the drums.

We Keep The Spirit Free...

Here's a rip of probably one of the oldest Robin Trower
vinyl bootlegs entitled Guitar Bandit.
An excellent FM radio recording from the Record Plant San Francisco 1973.
Featuring nine classic tracks from the first two albums,
if you're a Trower fan you definitely should have this one in the collection.

Ain't Gonna Burn Up No More Flame...

Procol Harum Featuring Robin Trower on guitar and
bass on his last tour with the band.
Recorded on the Broken Barricades album, tour and is probably
their most well-known bootleg recording.
A great sounding FM radio broadcast from
New York 1971.
Playing their style of Prog Rock, Art Rock ,Blues Rock ,
Psychedelic Rock etc etc.

The Gods Look Down In Anger...

A soundboard recording of a live show from Edinburgh,
February 1975 on the excellent For Earth Below album tour.
Then two discs of rehearsals from the Old Vic Church,London in
September 1974 for the '75 tour.
The rehearsals are mainly long jam instrumentals
with some really great guitar solos.

In a recent interview by drummer Bill Lorden he mentioned some recordings from the Old Vic maybe used for next year's
50th anniversary release of the For Earth Below album.

Travel Light And I'm Always Alone...

With the release of the classic Robin Trower album
Bridge Of Sighs 50th anniversary edition box set,
 here's an excellent sounding
FM/soundboard radio broadcast
from Pittsburgh 50 years ago in 1974.
 Apart from microphone problems
on the vocals on the opening track,
it's 45 minutes of the Blues Rock Trio at their finest.

Rock Me All Night Long...

Came across this recently on a torrent site.
An excellent audience recording of Robin Trower on the
Long Misty Days tour of 1976.
With a great set list and performance,
it's classic Robin Trower at his best.

(Credit must go to the taper Stephen Hopkins
and JEMS for the mastering)

Givers Sing The Blues...

An FM radio show from 1987 promoting the
Passion album.
Not the classic bluesy lineup of the 70s.
It now has Davey Patterson on
vocals as he would be on and off
for the next 30 years or so.
A good mix of old and new tracks
and of course plenty of solos by Robin.

The Wind Cried To The Skies...

Robin Trower on tour in 2010 in the UK promoting the
Chrysalis years compilation Album A Tale Untold.
An excellent sounding show full of classic tracks.
With Robin still playing with plenty of feeling.

An excellent sounding Radio Broadcast from 1973
with 6 tracks from the album
Twice Removed From Yesterday and some
unrecorded tracks at the time that would
appear on the next album Bridge of Sighs
Also featuring blistering guitar work by Robin,
if you have recently bought the 50th anniversary of
Twice Removed From Yesterday album
this would make a nice companion disc.

Nice sounding soundboard demos from the excellent Robin Trower,

I Want You To Rock Me Baby...

The previous Robin Trower posted
seemed popular so here's another.
An excellent bootleg probably his most well-known,
Neptune Rising.
A collection of live soundboard recordings
between 1973 and1975  and
Trower's Stratocaster has never sounded better.
