Evil Or Divine?...
The Voice Of Metal it's Ronnie James & his band.
With a fine show from the Super Rock Festival
back in '85.
There was a festival in 1984 as well.
They pretty much featured most of the top
Metal & Heavy Rock bands of the time.
Great time to be a Metalhead!
On The Edge Of Time...
Great show from the legendary Dio.
On their first tour.
Exciting times.
This one is from The Netherlands.
With a setlist that's hard to beat,
it's Heavy Metal Heaven.

Dio fronted Heaven And Hell.
I can't remember the legalities of why
they went out as H & H.
No doubt something to do with reunion tours
and Ozzy's wife?
Anyway a very good audience recording
here.Let's not forget this band was made
up of serious legends of METAL.
Good to hear the much missed RJD once again.

Let It Out...
DIO on their first tour after releasing
the classic Holy Diver album.
That line up and those early albums
were killer.
Of course RJD was easily one of the greatest
Rock vocalists of them all.

from the Rising Tour.
Plenty solos between songs to keep you occupied,
for many the classic lineup.

But Sail Along,Sing Your Song,Carry On...
Excellent audience recording from the
Sacred Heart Tour,Tokyo 1986.
With (probably) the greatest Heavy Rock
vocalist of all time RJD in fine form.
Viv Campbell played on the album and started
the tour but was booted and replace by Craig Goldy.
The album was fairly successful,unfortunately
the subsequent albums wouldn't sell as well.

Is Dio the greatest Hard Rock/Metal singer we've
ever had? I think he must be.
He's also the only guy to be involved in three classic albums.
That's not a bad legacy to leave.
