 Just to get it out of the way,I'm a big fan of Hysteria.

I know it's not the heaviest of albums.

But it does show what can be achieved when

all that time can be spent on an album.

Here's Leppard playing a home town show at the 

beginning of the Hysteria Tour.

Great stuff it is too.

With a mighty fine setlist.

Def Leppard the most successful band of the 80's.

(sales wise?)

They've just released a new album to positive reviews.

Def Leppard back in '88 on the massively  

successful Hysteria Tour.

Of course it also turned into one of biggest 

selling albums of all time.

And to this day it still sounds great.

Cracking setlist as well,only one song

that isn't from Pyromania or Hysteria.

So you debut album lovers are out of luck.

Here's an excellent sounding semi-acoustic and chat set from the 

VH1 TV show in New York 1999.

Oh how times have changed for the Sheffield 

Rockers since the original Wasted single in 1979.

Gonna Start A Fire...

 OK had a little dig in the box of tapes and pulled

this one out.Def Leppard,London 1983.

Not telling me much but after a listen it's from

the Marquee and the live debut of Phil Collen.

Sounds like it was recorded from a vinyl record,

gaps between the songs and Travelin' Band was tune

number six.

Anyway it's all been edited together and it's a decent

audience recording,incomplete of course.

The legend Brian Robertson turns in an appearance as well.

 It's Def Leppard on the way up touring

their excellent Pyromania album.

Here's audio from a French TV Broadcast.

Overall very good but some of the edits

between songs leaves a lot to be desired.

Only six tunes,is there more?

But! it's classic era Leppard.

Can't get enough of that.

This time a small club in the Capital.

Def Leppard from January 1980.

On Through The Night was released in March.

It's a decent audience recording and the playing's

great for such a young band.
