It's Coming Down On You...

Of all the gigs I went to this year THIS was the one I was looking forward to the most...having given me one of my all time favourite nights (Marquee '82) Shamefully I had not seen them since '86.So it was long overdue and celebrating their 50th year they did not disappoint.Mr Menketti and the guys for 2 hours totally blew the roof off and I am sure when they played 'I believe you' I witnessed grown men crying. It's nights like this you realize why rock music is as popular now as it ever was...
what a night...Enjoy,Ed.

Hot As The Desert Sand...

Classic Hard Rock from those San Fran Rockers,
Y & T.On the Black Tiger European Tour.
A very nice audience recording from
Lyon,France. These guys were the first big band
I saw live from the very same year, supporting AC/DC.
So they hold fond memories for me.

A Different House of Blues...

Here's Some More Y&T...

Live from BB King's Club in New York City...

It's an Audience Recording...

But, It's a Pretty Good One, Though...

A Very Appreciative Crowd...

But, Again, Not Over-Powerin'...

The Music Is Full and Can Be Heard Just Fine...

Hard Rock & Roll in a Bar...

What More Could You Ask For?

Three Out Of Four Ain't Bad...

Y&T Tourin' the Contagious Album...

The First Album Without Leonard Haze...
(Who Actually Started The Band...)

He Was Fired For Too Much Substance Abuse...

And, Haze Admitted Years Later In the
Documentary Y&T: On With the Show
"I Would Have Fired Me, Too..."

Joey Alves is Present Here, But He
Would Be Fired Soon For The Same Reason...

A Good FM Broadcast Recording...

Live in Kansas City, Missouri...

In 1987...

Dave Carries On...

This IS The First EVER Y&T Concert
Without Phil Kennemore...

Yesterday And Today Formed in 1974...
(With Dave, Phil, Joey and Leonard...)

Joey Alves Exited the Band in '86 and
Leonard Haze Left the Band in '89...

Dave and Phil with Other Musicians Carried On...

Fast Forward to 2010...

From Wiki:
In July 2010, Brad Lang, bass player from the band Jet Red, stepped in to play live for the band as they promoted 'Facemelter', as Kennemore wanted the tour to carry on during his fight with cancer.
On January 7, 2011, bassist Kennemore died at the age of 57 after a short battle with lung cancer.
Kennemore and Meniketti had been the only constant members of the band since 1974.

Thanks to The Original Recorder and Artwork Maker...

They're Listed on the Back Cover...

Big, Better, Best...

Been Listenin' to Y&T Lately...

Here's Another Version of the Salinas Bootleg...
(Discogs Lists It as an Unofficial Release)

It was Recorded in 1983...

When the 4 Original Members Were Still Together...

That Would All Change A Few Years Later...

So, Is It Better Than The Old Bootleg
We've Had For Years?
That's Also Posted HERE!

I'll Leave That For YOU to Decide...

All Fired Up And Really Gettin' Ready To Burn...

Someone Mentioned This One...

So, I Dug It Out and Listened to It...

Wasn't All That Great:
A Bit Too Much Bass and Kinda Dull Soundin'...

So, I Did a Little Work On It...

Y&T Live at The Country Club...
In Reseda, California...1981...

Earthshaker Had Been Out
'Bout a Month or So...

And, They Played ALL The Songs From It,
Except for Let Me Go!?!
(But, It's On The Starwood 1980 Show...)

So, It's Possible To Make an
Earthshaker LIVE CD...

Y&T Playin' To a Very Lively and
Enthusiastic Crowd...
(Remember They Were Big Time Out in Cali...)

Overall, a Pretty Decent and Listenable,
And Even,
Enjoyable Bootleg...

Anything Lost In Sound Quality
IS
More Than Made Up For Such a
Rare and Unique Concert!

NOTE: Wanna Thank the Y&T Dutch Fan Pages for
Some of The Graphics!

Enjoy and Play It LOUD!

You're a Mean Earthshaker, Baby...

Here's an Old Y&T Concert...

So Old, They Were Still Goin' By:
Yesterday And Today!

Earthshaker The Song Was On Their 1st Album...

Earthshaker The Album Was The 1st As Y&T...

It Was Released in The Summer of 1981...

It's a Decent Audience Recording...

And, They Play Some Early Music Along
With Songs That Would End Up On The
Earthshaker Album...

And, You Get a Few Songs That NEVER
Ended Up On ANY Album!

To: Joey, Phil and Leonard (R.I.P.)

I'm Not Always Right, But That's The Way I Am...

A Good Little FM Broadcast of Y & T...

Live on the Radio in Buffalo, New York...
(Famous for Spicy Chicken Wings!)

This Bootleg Is Kinda Unique...

1. The Way It Ends...
The Power Blows!
So, It's The End of the Show!

2. I Believe This Is The ONLY One with
The Song My Way Or The Highway!?!

The Radio Announcer Sure Likes The
Sound of His Own Voice a Bit Too Much...

But, Overall...

A Pretty Cool Rock & Roll Show!

Enjoy and Play It LOUD!

Better Wake Up Boy...

 It's Winter time 1983.
Young Eddie heads out to see Y & T
that quality American Hard Rock band.
Luckily,once again,he's recording the show.
It's the Mean Streak tour and the third studio album
they've released under the name Y & T.
Which makes three great albums in a row.
Anyway it's a ripper of a show
as you'd expect from the early 80's!

Today Will Be Yesterday Tomorrow...

Excellent EARLY Concert From Y & T!

So Early (1974) They Were Still Yesterday And Today!
Live from Winterland...

That Same Early & Classic Line Up That Would Appear
On Their Best Music!

Dave, Phil, Leonard & Joey!
Sadly, Dave Meniketti Is The ONLY One Left...

But, Their Music Will Live On!

Some Songs From Those First Two London Records Albums,
Plus Some Other Songs as well...

IF You Don't Have THIS!?!

It Is Highly Recommended!

Fair Warning,Be Ready...

Double tap for another fine four piece, out of
San Francisco,Y & T.FM Broadcast from California
and a soundboard from Japan.
Back in the 80's when they were in their prime.
Unfortunately they couldn't really keep up
the quality of those 1st three albums they made
as Y & T.Live of course it's a different story.
That's where they've always Rocked.

Santa Barbara 1985

Japan 1986

Open Fire When I Hit The Stage...

Classic Hard Rock from Dave and the boys.
That one two punch of Earthshaker & Black Tiger
put them in the spotlight.
So here they are in '82 playing tunes from those albums.
I saw them in 1982 supporting AC/DC.
(My first show)
Still going but with only Dave as the remaining original member.
They're still worth seeing.
