When I Woke Up This Mornin'...

Since we've got a run on Cry Of Love here's
one Rocket seems to have forgotten.
A Blues/Rock Band of the highest order,
FM Broadcast a great listen.

Runnin' From The Day...

Here's another 80's Kiss vinyl boot.
Again from Gothenburg,Sweden.
But this time it's '83 and the guitarist is
Vinnie Vincent who seems to be tying to kill his
guitar with his over playing!
Lick It Up!!
Enjoyable audience recording.

When All Is Said And Done...

 A Thin Lizzy live compilation.
This is a strange one I have no idea of
the sources there is no info.
To me it sounds like it could be from TV Broadcasts.
Anyway it's Lizzy it's great.
Out of print and pretty expensive these days.

Best of What I Got...

Here's Somethin' Special for All You Cry Of Love Fans!

It's 4 Unreleased Tracks by the Band!

They were Shared by LuvCo...

(All I Did was make the Artwork!)

The E.P. Turned Out Quite Nice,
And is Somethin' Unique...
One of a Kind!

Pretty Cool Stuff!

Leona's Home Cookin' Cafe'...

Here's a Bootleg Everyone Should Have in Their Collection!

Wet Willie - Live from The Bottom Line, 1977...

I Posted a 1979 show a while back, Which is Great...
But, I Like This One Even Better!

Wet Willie was Such a Good Band!
Southern Rock with Some Southern Soul...

This one starts with Leona, a Song about gettin' a Fried Chicken Dinner at a little Roadside Diner! And they close with the Chuck Berry Inspired No, No, NoOf Course, There's Street Corner Serenade and Keep On Smilin' as well!
And, Many More Great Songs!

It's Such a Fun Concert to Listen to as well!

And the Band is Just So Tight!
I Mean They're Right on It!
Every Note is the Right One at the Right Time!
They Back Jimmy Hall's Singin' Perfectly!
I would Put Them Up There with
Tom Petty's Heartbreakers and Huey Lewis' The News!

IF You Don't Have This One - I'd Get It!

Enjoy and Play It LOUD!

Bring a Good Feelin' Ain't Had in Such a Long Time...

Sorry, I've Not Been Around in a Little While, Folks...
But, Well...Nevermind...
Everyone Has Their Own Set of Issues and Problems!

Here's some Good Old-Fashioned, Good Time Rock & Roll!
It's Head East - Live On Stage!

For Those of You Not that Familiar with Head East,
This is a Good Sampler of What They were Like Live!

And, I Always Thought They were a Better Live Band
(As Opposed to Their Studio Albums...)
Although, The Head East album is My Favorite Studio album!
(The One with The Orange Sign with Arrows...)

Standout Tracks Include Never Been Any Reason, Take A Hand, Man I Wanna Be and Since You Been Gone!

NOTE: Take A Hand Is a Rick Springfield song...
And, Since You Been Gone Is a Russ Ballard tune Many Have Covered!

Enjoy and Play It LOUD!

Hiding From The Day...

This might well be one of the first Kiss vinyl boots
I bought way back.
80's Kiss,what a decade.
The make up came off.
A revolving door of guitarists,a new drummer.
Plenty of albums,all different.
The look of the band went from over the top to
lean & mean.
I loved it all!!  lol.

Back to the bootleg.
It's from Gothenburg,Sweden 1984.
Animalize!!
So it's the line up that features Bruce Kulick.
Finally someone who steadied the ship.
Audience recording and an enjoyable one.

We Don't Waste No Time At All...

Capitalising on their stand out performance
at Live Aid the previous year.
Queen became bigger than ever.
Here they are on the Kind Of Magic Tour.
A very good audience recording and a setlist
spanning most of their career.
This one comes from Derek - Land!

Turn Off Your Mind...

The Beatles at work on their classic Revolver album.
If you like all that work in progress studio stuff.
Partial songs, multiple takes, Stereo & mono versions
all in great sound.
They just can't be beat!

You Got Ta Roll Me...

After playing three shows at Wembley Stadium
the Stones do a club show.
How cool would it have been to see them up close?
The band are having fun.
Great sound & performance.

Just What The Doctor Ordered...

More from the Guitar God Michael Schenker.
This time Belfast,Northern Ireland.
This is the short lived line up that featured Derek St. Holmes.
Probably underused as he's a great vocalist too.
Ah,the 80's.
When it seemed that albums were released every week.
And you had to decide which one to buy as pennies were limited.
Bands seemed to tour all the time.
Kerrang!,Sounds...
Nostalgia Rules!!
Keep Rockin'

Without Warning A Wizard Walks By...

Nice recording from Sabbath back in 1995.
Featuring the man who comes off the bench
to save the day, Tony "The Cat" Martin.
It's a strong line up all 'round.
Cozy on drums & Neil Murray on bass.
From the Forbidden Tour.

Careful With That Axe,Lillian!

Classy Hard Rock from Lillian Axe back in '93.
Now the only album I have ever had of them is
Love + War.
It's a great album and they play a few songs from it here.

Time Is On His Side!

Keef taking a break from the Stones with his solo band.
The man who has probably come up with more riffs
than anybody. He's a real cool cat!
His band is Rockin' with a serious groove.
This one's from Toronto 1993.

This Is Shangrila...

Predating the Grunge movement and out of Seattle
here we have Mother Love Bone.
Cool Hard Rock with a twist.
A band that really could have been huge.
Unfortunately drugs would play their part
regarding enigmatic frontman Andrew Wood.
Of course Stone & Jeff would go on to form Pearl Jam
a band that did achieve success right up to today.

Hello,Hello,Hello...

Here's Pink Floyd man David Gilmour back in 1984.
Live in London.
Featuring some of his solo tracks.
Of course finishing with his show stopping guitar
mastery.Comfortably Numb.

Cos I'm Free...

Couple of promo cd's that came with the Classic Rock magazine.
First up Tesla and their cover versions.
It's pretty cool as they do songs that aren't the usual
go to covers that every band does.
Can't believe this is from 2007!!

Next a fine compilation from Black Stone Cherry.
Hits,Acoustic & Live.
This one is from 2014.
Of course if any of this from these two
fine bands Rocks your boat.
Buy their stuff.

Fill My Eyes with Double Vision...

Here's a Classic Foreigner Concert from 1978!

Live at The Spectrum in Philadelphia...

A Great Soundin' Show with the Band Really Rockin' Philly!
(I Think it was Recorded for The Source?)

It Features Songs from Their First Couple Albums...

Not Much Else to Say,
You Like Foreigner
And Don't Have This One...
Get It!

Highly Recommended Show!

I Had to Alter the Back Cover a Bit,
'Cause it was for a Single CD Version and
This is the Complete Concert on 2 CDs!

Enjoy and Play It LOUD!

Get The Firehouse...

Firehouse were/are(?) a good band!

I Saw them in 1990, Openin' for Tesla!

I Remember the Lead Singer C.J. Snare
(Great Name for a Drummer!)
After the First Three Songs, Said,
"And You Guys Thought We Just Did Ballads!"

This is a Live Broadcast on Z-Rock
from Dallas, Texas in 1993!

Enjoy and Play It LOUD!

Billy, Dave & Paul's First Rock Record...

This is the First CD by the band TALAS!

Talas featured Bass Wizard Billy Sheehan...
And the Other 2 Guys weren't bad!
They hail from Buffalo, NY!

I Saw Talas in 1980 Openin' for Van Halen in Augusta, GA!
And have Liked them Ever since...

The Only Song on This I Don't Really Care for is The First:
See Saw...
They do a Great Cover of Stop! In The Name Of Love...

And, You Just can't Help but Love Billy's Bass Tone!

This is the Metal Blade Release!

Enjoy and Play It LOUD!

Just A New Way...

Seeing the Cry Of Love post made me dig this one out.
A 12" single.
You get a new mix and a couple of live tracks.
Yeah they should've had more success.
The Brother album was a goodie.
I think they only had the one album?

I Was Born This Way...

Some Southern Rockin' from the band that come
from down Rocket's way.
Maybe their barn is close to his barn?
Anyway cool little set from Germany's Rockpalast back in 2011.
See,we do put up some recent stuff!!

He's Rounding First...

Digging into the archives once again here's a
nice little compilation from Knebworth Festival 1985.
Radio Broadcast.
Tape Rip.
