You Bought A Guitar To Punish Your Ma...

Now if I was make a fantasy Queensryche setlist it would be what Geoff played tonight...absolutely stunning... every song  was an anthem played and sang at the highest level to a packed Academy crowd.Who just lapped it up and to hear him play Pink Floyd's 'Welcome To The Machine' was the icing on the cake.He has promised to come back every year till he can longer perform and I will be going every year till I can no longer walk...what a gig...Enjoy,Ed.

All Alone Now,Except For The Memories...

 Excellent show from Queensryche.
Sounds like an FM Broadcast so
great sound on this from a band that could replicate
their records live.One of
the best bands to come out of the 80's.
Plus Operation:Mindcrime is one
of the best Rock albums of all time.
Yep I did say that, cos I mean it.

Yeah,You Looked Pretty Cool...

 Queensrÿche from 1988 in Germany
promoting the Operation:Mindcrime album.
One of the best albums of the 80's
in my opinion. From their debut E.P.
up to Empire that was a hell of a run.
Audio taken from a TV broadcast so it's
a very good listen.

You've Got Nothing to Lose, But Everything to Gain...

Sometime 'Round the Live Evolution Period,
Queensrÿche
Played a Show at The House Of Blues
In Anaheim, California...

This Must Be What Was Broadcast Back Then...

Even The Songs You May Not Think You Like,
Sound Better and Heavier HERE!

A Little Over a Half Hour, This One...

But, Super Excellent Sound Quality...

And, Queensrÿche ALWAYS Played to
Perfection In Concert as well...

Enjoy and Play It LOUD!

There Is No Escape...

Here's an early Queensrÿche show
from London back in 1984.
They only had the EP and The Warning out
at this time but they were miles ahead of
a lot of the competition.
A lot of people didn't rate the debut album
due to the production being a little dull.
I love it,it was a fine first record.

Your Dream Is Over,Or Has It Just Begun?...

Firstly I cocked up on recording...two sets tonight
1st set (Rage For Order).I had the levels set too high,Doh!
But thankfully I noticed it during the break
ready for the 2nd set (Empire).Which I prefer anyway.
The gig itself,Mr. Tate, even after all these years you
STILL have the voice.
Just hearing Silent Lucidity live,
is such a special moment that will go with
me to my grave.
Great show,great choice of albums...
See you next time...Enjoy,Ed.

Does Emotion Hold The Key?...

Here's a recording of mine from a while ago.
So long ago things were OK in the
Queensrÿche camp!
The story is I thought I'll take my video camera to the gig
and film some of the bands, how hard could it be?
Turns out pretty hard. The show wasn't a sell out
and there was plenty of room on the floor.
Plenty of room for security to roam about.
So I didn't film anything but the audio
was captured from the camera.
I've listened to it,I've enjoyed it.
If you're a Queensrÿche fan you'll probably want it.

The Killing Words...

Here's an Oldie But Goodie...

Queensrÿche Recorded Live...

On The MTV...

Part of the Unplugged Series...

This Set Of Artwork Has Seen Better Days...

So, I Put Together Some New Covers...

Queensrÿche Play Some of Their
Great Songs, Back When They Were...
(Before ALL The Lawyers and Lawsuits, Etc.)

Della Brown Is Particularly Good Here!

Also, Their Version of Simon & Garfunkel's
Scarborough Fair Is Also Quite Good as well...
(Guess WHO Played Drums on S&G's Version?)

This Is COMPLETE with ALL The Takes...

Blah, Blah...

It's Yours, IF Ya Want It!

Enjoy and Play It Completely LOUD!

Watching The Time Tick,Tick Away...

 Excellent soundboard from Queensrÿche
back in 1995 on the Promised Land Tour.
Now I've been a fan of this band since the E.P.
I bought The Promised Land cd and didn't like it.
Up until then their output was excellent.
I haven't bought anything of theirs since,
apart from Mindcrime expanded and a couple of live albums.
Anyhoo a fine show here and not too many
tunes from the new album...lol.

On The Road to Madness...

A King Biscuit Recording of Queensrÿche!

Live on Their First Tour...

Openin' for DIO!

Back in 1983!

It's Just 4 Songs...
(Close to 20:00)
But, What's Here Sounds Good!

I Found Some Artwork and Tinkered
With It Just a Bit...

Takin' Hold of Louisville...

This is a Pretty Decent Audience Recording of
Queensrÿche
Fairly Early on in Their Career...

Long Before Too Many Egos and Lawyers
Would Get in the Way of The Music!

Live in Louisville in 1984...

Opening for KISS!

They Had the EP and The Warning...
At This Point!

The EP Showed Potential and
The Warning was a Big Step Forward...

And They Would Make Some Great Music
Goin' Forward for Awhile...

I Guess Everything You Really Need to Know's
On The Back Cover...

Thanks to The Original Taper and Uploader!

Enjoy and Play It LOUD!

Order Of A New Kind...

Excellent show here from Seattle's Queensryche.
On the Rage For Order Tour.
One of the best Metal bands of the 80's until it all imploded!
I'd have to rate Rage as my second favourite album from them.
Second only to the masterpiece that is Operation Mindcrime.
For one EP and four albums they were great, after that...?
The production on Rage is fantastic one of the best
sounding albums of the 80's.

Who Do You Trust When Everyone's a Crook?

analogkid mentioned in the Comments
about Seein' Queensrÿche
Openin' for Metallica in San Fran...

And, Well, I Just Happened to Have This One Uploaded
(Funny How that Happens, Sometimes?) -
So, Here's Queensrÿche Openin' for Metallica in Dallas, Texas!

It's a Great FM Radio Broadcast of the Truncated
(Ooh! Fancy Word!)
Version of Operation: Mindcrime...
(Well, 'Cause They Were Openin' for Metallica!)

Did I Mention They Were Openin' for Metallica?

The Future Is But Past Forgotten...

 Great early show from Queensryche.
from Harpo's,Detroit,December 1984.
Their debut album was excellent.
Seemingly the band weren't too happy with the
production.Sure it was a little dull but I liked it.
Gave it that dark edge and stood out from
the bright Hair Metal bands at the time.

Revolution Calling...

Queensryche from Italy 1990 & a very good
audience recording.
Now I loved them from their 1st 12" release.
But I only go up to Empire as far as studio albums go.
I did buy others...didn't like them.
Great setlist and we also get the whole of
Operation Mindcrime.
There's also the epic Roads To Madness
and Walk In The Shadows!!
When they were great they were great.
Silver cd Rip.
