You Know The Deuce Is Wild...

Thanks to BowlingRon for sharing his
recordings with us.
A couple of Canadian legends in Coney Hatch
and Lee Aaron here from 2023.
Coney Hatch I was into for the first couple of albums.
Hearing Devil's Deck on the Friday Rock Show
made me go out and buy their debut.
I liked Carl's Melodic Rock songs
and Andy's more left field off the wall tunes.

Lee Aaron, can't say I ever bought her albums.
But did enjoy her appearances in KERRANG! magazine.
Didn't she go off to do Jazz then returned to Rock Music?

I Hope They're Comin' For Me...

It's the Motor City Madman from Cobo Hall '82.
Excellent Radio Broadcast featuring the
classic line up:

Derek St. Holmes guitar, vocals
Ted Nugent guitar, vocals
Rob Grange - bass
Clifford Davies - drums

Good old honest to goodness Hard Rock.

Well,Dark Clouds Are Rollin'...

Blues legend Jimmie Vaughan with a very nice set here.
Guest of Eric Clapton back in 2022.
Brother of Stevie and member of
The Fabulous Thunderbirds.
Texas Blues Royalty.
I did mention I had a Fabulous Thunderbirds album
but I couldn't remeber it's name.
So I've had a look and it's - Girls Go Wild
from 1979 as mentioned in the comments
and - Hot Number from 1987.
I've also got the Tuff Enuff 12"
I love that tune...mid 80's hit.

I Closed My Eyes And I Slipped Away...

A very interesting show here, the voice of Boston
Brad Delp had a Beatles tribute band,
Beatlejuice and here they are back in 1996
doing their thing.
Seemingly Brad did this until his untimely
death back in 2007.
Info in the download.

Dialed My Numbers...

An excellent Radio Broadcast
from talented Canadian Rocker,Aldo Nova.
From St. Louis back in 1984 he had a bit of
success back then.
Then at some point he disappeared to work and write
with other people.
Then I'm sure in the last few years he was out
Rockin' again.

Some Like It Some Like It...

Here's a share from BowlingRon's own recording.
Cheers Buddy!
A fairly recent concert by the fine Canadian
Hard Rock band,
Coney Hatch.
I was into them for the 1st two albums
good to see them still out there occasionally playing.

And I Got Cat Style...

Here's a band that kept Rock 'n' Roll
alive during the 80's and beyond.
The fantastic Stray Cats.
Excellent tunes and playing on this Radio Broadcast
from (mostly) Canada back in 1983.
Tracks 1-16 from a live FM Broadcast
recorded at Massey Hall,Toronto,Canada,
28th March 1983.
Tracks 17 & 18 from a live FM Broadcast
recorded at Stages Music Hall,Chicago,
31st July 1983.
Vinyl Rip.

Oh,Gotta Play For My Crowd...

Hell Yeah! excellent FM Radio Broadcast from
Southern Rock n Rollers,Blackfoot,
way back in '83.
They'd also added ex Uriah Heep man,
Ken Hensley on keyboards.
Still Rockin' here tho'.

'Cause I've Made Your Reservation...

One of those Heritage Tours that played at fairs
back in the day,Rick tells us.
A plethora of artists here some familiar to me...some not.
Excellent audience recording.

And As We Drift Along...

A nice sounding Dio FM radio broadcast,
from the  1987 Dream Evil tour.
An album that was seen as a step
down at the time by some fans and critics,
but now seen as a classic Dio album
as the tracks from the album prove here.

Got Something Going On...

Live at Hammersmith 1980 on the No Place to Run Tour.
Recorded the night after the official live version.
A pretty decent sounding show and performance
by the band and the London audience.
With Paul chapman now really showing his worth to the band.

I'm On Top As Long As The Music's Loud...

NEW LINK

Priest riding high with Screaming For Vengeance.
Playing one of the biggest festivals ever.
Soundin' great,this is Heavy Metal.
The boys done good!

She's Got The Seven Year Itch...

NEW LINK

I got into Coney Hatch when I heard Devil's Deck
on the Friday Rock Show.I think,
it was a long time ago!
I went and got their debut album.
Got the follow up - Outta Hand -  when that came out.
And...that was pretty much it for me and Coney Hatch.
A good Hard Rock band who never made the leap
to the big league.
So,back to '83 and a very good show from
Quebec,Canada.
Supporting Iron Maiden.
