I Know A Candy Man...

Classic Rock from the '70's with Humble Pie.
Featuring one of the best frontmen ever in
Steve Marriott (A favourite of Paul Stanley).
It's intense,he's giving 100% and they're not afraid
to stretch those songs out.
Not in a boring way either.
They've got their groove on!

  1. Oh my! The little fella with the huge voice and a heart full of soul. I am surprised that for a band that played live so much in its lifetime there are not as many good quality shows circulating as there are for many of their contemporaries. Thank you so much for this. My Saturday evening rock out now has a Marriott shaped theme to it.

  2. The 1st time I heard 30 Days in the Hole, I thought it was Tina Turner. Steve Marriott always wanted to be a Rock Star but never realized that everyone valued him much greater. The dude was 100% musician. He could write hooks, riffs, lyrics, and sing. Damn this man could sing. Guitar, keyboard, organ, harmonica, and some of the most soulful vocals in Rock music EVER. Mojo, I too will appreciate the true artist Marriott tonight. Thanks Smoker!

  3. One more thing, If you have never heard this before, well, your really not a true Van Halen connoisseur. That's OK by-the-way. Anyway, listen to Diamond David Lee Roth playing guitar and singing Humble Pie's 79th & Sunset -

Amazing performance and homage to the great Marriott and boys.
