This is an old well-known bootleg of a rejuvenated Uriah Heep.
An excellent radio broadcast promoting the
Abominog album,on tour in Hungary 1982.
Featuring Pete Goalby on vocals and of course Mick Box on the guitar.
A very good sounding show with a nice mix of old and new songs.
Thanks Smoker and UFOSteve for reminding me of this boot. I took it from the shelf, wiped out the dust and will play it this morning at LOUD volume. I guess I grabbed it from HRC long time ago and burnt it to CD on the 6th of May 2014. I remember it has a very good sound quality.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Paris,
Ozzys loss was mick boxs gain, sharon osbourne got ozzy to sack bob daisley and lee kerslake so mick box got them to rejoin uriah heep and make one of their strong albums abominog, which does sound a bit blizzard of ozz on some of the tracks, plus john sinclair played keyboards for ozzy as well, this line up made 2 albums together both very good.
ReplyDeleteThanks anonymous interesting comments for some reason I never made the ozzy connection in your uriah Heep
DeleteBob daisley always seems to be underrated he played in some great bands rainbow garry Moore uriah Heep Black Sabbath Ozzy Osbourne etc etc
And definitely played or wrote tracks on all of Ozzy Osbourne's best solo albums in my opinion
