More Strangers in Chicago...

A fairly decent audience recording

At the Randhurst Hall Prospect Heights

Chicago 1978.

Which was apparently an old ice rink.

Paul (Tonka) Chapman had taken over

Permanently on guitar in November.

After Schenker had quit in October.

This is his 3rd show.

As the Obsession tour of the USA rolls on.

NOW here's a good mix of musicians from various old school
Punk/New Wave bands that got together during lockdown
to produce a rather good album and took it on the road,
I was expecting a rowdy crowd but no.
I think age has caught up with some of these old Punks
so a beer and watch seems to be on the agenda tonight.
Some great covers along with original material made
for a very good night of music.
If this is your thang Enjoy,Ed.

QUO, Here and Now...

An excellent QUO Soundboard

From Sydney, Australia 1974.

On the Quo Now album tour.

And it's Classic 70s Quo.

A part of Road House Blues is cut.

and the drum solo may be missing.

Otherwise, it's Quo doing what they do best.

Pure Old Fashion Boogie Rock and Roll.

Get The QUO NOW!

I'm Just a Soul Whose Intentions Are Good...

An Old Vinyl Rip of a Single from the
Band, DiAnno...
Named After Paul Di'Anno, Of Course...

The A-Side Also Appears on Their
One and Only Album as well...
(Except, There Was Nomad by Di'Anno in 2000...)
((With a Few of The Same Band Members...))

DiAnno Was Released in Japan As:
Two Swimmers & A Bag Of Jockies!?!

From WIKI:
"Two swimmers refers to fish, and jockies' whips is slang for chips -
so literally: 2 fish and a bag of chips.
This was actually intended as a tribute to their friend and ex-drummer Mark Stewart,
a cockney from East London."

But The B-Side?

Not Sure Where That Comes From...

But It's a Damn Good Cover Version...

Enjoy and Play It LOUD!

Justice Is Rough, Sometimes...

Ed's Great Recordin' of This Band, Tytan,
Let's You Hear What They Sound Like Now-A-Days...

Here's What They Sounded Like Way Back When...

Like Many Bands, They Got a Raw Deal...

They Were Signed, Recorded an Album...

But, It Wasn't Released 'Til They'd Disbanded...
(Record Co. Folded or Somethin'...)

I First Got On To Tytan 'Cause Les Binks (Judas Priest)
Played Drums on Their Rough Justice Record...

Anyway, This Is an Old Recordin'...

That's Actually Pretty Good, Overall...

Good for Them for Gettin' Back Together...

Livin' Well Is The Best Justice or Somethin' Like That...

Enjoy and Play It LOUD!

Ain't The Internet Grand?...

NOT Worry 'Bout Hittin' Anyone...
OR Play Music Loud As I Want!
Anyway, Good to Be Back...
Thanks As Always to smoker and Others for
Keepin' The Barn A-Rockin'...

Funny How You Can Find Some Strange Stuff,
Without Even Really Tryin'...

Like THIS:

Somehow, I Ran Across It...
Clicked On It 'Cause It Looked
Like Some Folks Down The Road
A-Ways From Here...

I Figured It Was Some GodAwful
Country Music or Such...

Normally, These Guys Would be
Havin' a BBQ and Beer, One Might Think...

But These Guys Said, Let's Play Some Music!
What, an Oldie Like Johnny B. Goode?

Nah, Let's Try Somethin' More Challengin'...
What? Like RUSH...
Yeah. 2112...
OK, Why Not? Let's Rock, Eh!

IF Ya Like It Or Not...

At Least, WAIT 'Til "The KID" Enters Deck Left!?!
You Can't Miss Him...

I, Personally, Thought This Was Way Cool!
That's Why I'm-A-Sharin' It With You...

Her Face Was Nothing Fancy...

The reformed Mark II version of Deep Purple.
Giving it another go on the
House Of Blue Light Tour.
Great band of course part of the most influential,
along with Black Sabbath,Led Zeppelin etc.
Very nice audience recording.

or

Temperature's Risin',Fever Is High...

I've been through all the UFO uploads
and I don't see this one.
Looks familiar tho'.
From the Marquee Club,London.1974.
Promoting the Phenomenon album.
It's the classic five piece line up.
If the Marquee had paint on the walls it
would've been peeling off after this performance.
Yeah!

or

Satisfaction Guaranteed...

Very nice audience recording from classic AC/DC.
Back in 1977 and would appear to be from the
Let There Be Rock Tour.
So simple,so effective.
