OK not a band I had much interest in.I was
pretty much only into Heavy Rock/Metal when I was growing up.
But! as you grow up a bit (I'm still growing)
quality will out.
What a fantastic guitarist Knopfler is.
Plus they backed it up with quality songs.
You forget how successful they were.
Absolutely massive.
This show is fantastic in sound and performance.

ReplyDeleteYup Smoker, you're right. I too didn't care much for them in the day, but now really like them, and Knopfler is half-decent! It must be about growing up. Strangely I now like cider much more than I used to growing up. And Marmite. And sleeping! Cheers DD
