Good to hear Tom Russell's voice once again.
He hosted the Rock Show back then.
Of course Rockers were well catered for back then.
The show was 12.00am until 02.00am.
So it was a bit of a struggle to stay up.
Man I miss those days!!

I remember those days when doing my latin or ancient greek translations for school I listened to the dutch radio stations that had dedicated programs to hard and heavy rock where I could discover Kiss Alive II, the Nuge's Gonzo, etc. They sometimes played one side of an LP without interruption. Gosh, I still have fond memories of the first time they played a new and nice little band from England and the single was : Anarchy in the UK, ummph !!! My mother always told me to no push the button of the volume of the radio above 2 out of 10. It was the maximum allowed but as you said, Man I miss those days!!
ReplyDeleteI was kind of expecting a gary moore d/load because you just put up a couple of glenn hughes shows I throught you would put up one when hughes was with gary moore,they made some good music together for a while.
