This album and lovedrive,I bought at the same time,did not know much about them,I got lovedrive because of michael schenker being on it,took a chance with tokyo tapes and Ive been a fan of scorpions ever since 2 brilliant albums,I like all the different scorpion era,s .
Great sounding recording of the second night in Tokyo, with Uli on good form. This is the 'Alternate Tokyo Tapes Vol. 1' release of the tape (not 'More Tokyo Tapes'), they're both from the same recording but have different track times and this, Alternate Tokyo, runs 45 seconds longer than More Tokyo. Would you like Mr Peach's recording from the 1st Night?
Tokyo Tapes is one of my favorite live albums - looking forward to this.
