Six Foot Hot Look...

Here's a pretty cool collection of demos from
the band that gave up their 50 year career
a year ago.Love 'em or hate 'em
you couldn't ignore them.
Hopefully we'll get some cool stuff released from
the archives.
And at an affordable price, that would be nice.
Sound quality on this is very good apart from the
Paul Stanley tunes...for the serious collector only!

Big Trouble At My Door...

Blues from South Africa which is not something you see very often.Tonight I did something a bit different I got to the venue nice and early and made my way to the front barrier (normally I like to stand further back and take it all in).The reason being, this guy is such a talented guitarist I wanted to be up close and personal and watch in awe at the style he plays and trust me it is amazing to see him from 2 feet away playing with such such emotion. What a great gig...Enjoy,Ed.

I Was Leaving For Home...

With the news that Uriah Heep are starting on their
final tour that's expected to last two or three years.
Here a  recording from Wacken 2023
a dvd audio rip 67 minutes long of modern day Heep.
Apart from the opening track where the vocals are lost in the mix
it's a GOOD sounding recording.

A Simple Tune And It Moved Me...

Excellent recording by Dan Lampinski of
Robin Trower on the In City Dreams tour in Boston 1977.
As you would expect plenty of guitar work by
Trower and soulful vocals by James Dewar.
With new member Rustee Allen on
bass and Bill Lordan on the drums.

There Was A Girl I Knew...

 OK just a little update.
I got myself a new computer recently and as we all know,
what a hassle. The last one was ready for blowing up
I think,super slow etc etc.
That's why things have been more quieter around here than usual.
Hopefully we're once again good to go.
Thanks again to UFOSteve & Eddie for keeping us supplied.

There's a version of this up on the site but
this would appear to be the whole show
from one of the all time greats,
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.
Gainesville 1993.
They no longer make them like this!

Gonna Carry Me Away Once More...

Here is a well-known Queen bootleg originally a vinyl bootleg released in 1977.
I believe this rip is from the CD version,
a good audience recording of Queen on the Royal American Tour of 1975
at Santa Monica.
A very nice hard-rocking setlist and performance.

Nobody Asks You Where You Are Going...

A good audience recording from the
Straight Shooter Australian tour of 1975.
A setlist full of classic tracks.
Including the non album tracks at the time
Whiskey Bottle and Little Miss Fortune.
Overall it's a very enjoyable show.

Please Be There...

Magnum live on the Vigilante tour of the UK in 1987.
Great sounding FM recording full of
hook laden songs that will be stuck in your head for days.
British Melodic Pomp Rock at its finest.

In These Days Of Cool Reflection...

The Cross reunion show after 20 years featuring
Queen drummer Roger Taylor.
Taylor formed The Cross in 1987 with
Queen touring keyboardist Spike Edney.
They recorded three albums before disbanding in 1993,
they reformed for this one off performance in
Guildford in the UK in 2013.
Roger Taylor is on vocals for the
majority of the show before the special guests.
Its a very good audience recording.

You Must Have The Blues...

 Another hometown show.
It's Aerosmith in Boston 1994.
One of my favourite bands and one
of the all time greats.
Unfortunately they had to call it a day
recently and cancel the rest of their
farewell tour.
Back when I was a teen I thought
all the bands I liked would last forever.
Time catches up with us all.
One thing is for sure we'll never see the likes
of our favourites again.
Anyway...excellent setlist here with the 'smiths
playing a lot of their older classic tunes.
Yes I know there's some "interesting" song
titles on the back cover lol.

Only Thing I'd Not Embrace...

An FM Radio Broadcast here from
classic Grungers,Alice In Chains.
From the Seattle Centre,20th December 1992.
Back when Grunge was taking a real foothold.
And bands like Pearl Jam,Nirvana &
Soundgarden were
all releasing great albums.

But If You Try Sometimes...

Here's a fine Stone's compilation with
excellent sound quality.
It doesn't get much better than this
alt. mixes recorded during their
golden era.
Released in 2021 on the Golden Eggs label.

A Little Out Of Time But I Don't Mind...

The Faces Ooh La La sessions from late 1972.
With outtakes and alternative
versions plus a mix of rare
tracks and classic live recordings.
All played in their usual style of great rock and roll.

You Spend My Money,You Drink My Best Red Wine...

Another of these two track mp3 files
of a vintage Quo show with the usual rough and ready sound.
Only 8 tracks in this 80 minute performance,
so you know what you're going to get here
heads down no nonsense Boogie
from the Piledriver Tour of 1973.
