We'll Do It All Again...

Sound starts off poor but soon levels off
into an enjoyable show.
Pete Way's second band and very good they were too.
Mostly not straying too far from that classic UFO Hard Rock style.
Here they are captured in Scotland at a two day music festival.
Featuring all Scottish bands it would seem.
Nazareth,Pallas & Frankie Miller to name a few.
Tape Rip.

  1. Thanks for sharing this, Waysted circa '84 were an excellent live band..
I remember 'The Scottish Rock And Pop Festival' being advertised & really wanting to go, but my parents weren't keen as i was only 14. I eventually got them to agree i could go to the following years event, but of course the festival unfortunately never took place again.
I'd thought it was just a 1 day event and setlist.fm seems to bear that memory out, though they've been mistaken about such details before.
Either way it was quite a strong line up; Chasar, Dead Loss Band, Frankie Miller, Glasgow, Nazareth, Pallas, Scheme & Waysted. I saw all of those bands at various venues around the same time, (except Dead Loss Band & Frankie Miller), & aside from Scheme who were more of an indie band, and Glasgow who were a bit naff/cliched, they were all great live acts.
Just a shame it didn't catch on & become an annual event.
Thanks for the belated chance to hear a taste of what i missed out on 40+ years ago.
