Ozzy Osbourne 1948 - 2025

A Love That Never Dies...

 A surprisingly good audience recording
from the Technical Ecstasy Tour.
Things were really falling apart at this point
but they still sound great live.
Not regarded as one of their classic albums.
I don't think it's that bad, there's some good stuff on there.
Of course keeping up that run of excellent albums
was pretty impossible considering the state they were in.

But That's How It Goes...

Here's one that was up before.
A double FM Broadcast from 1986.
He's riding high with The Ultimate Sin.
Even a hit single with
Shot In The Dark.
Jake E. Lee's still on six string duties.
Man,the 80's spoiled us with Heavy Rock & Metal.

And We're Really Layin' It Down...

A good sounding well known Japanese UFO bootleg titled
Mismanaged (not sure why). From the 1995 reunion tour of the USA,
apparently this two CD set was released in a tin box.
Not quite the classic line up Andy Parker had left and
replaced by Simon Wright on drums.
Featuring two different concerts from Ventura in October 1995.

Tryin' To Stay In The Race...

An excellent sounding radio broadcast of Gamma in New York 1980.
Featuring of course former Montrose guitarist
Ronnie Montrose on lead guitar.
Not as Hard Rocking as
Montrose more American '80s style AOR.

I Kinda Like The Way She Dips...

Time to look out your skinny tie.
Some of that New Wave from The Cars.
This looks like it's one of those Rock Goes To College shows.
(AC/DC,Cheap Trick etc)
Radio Broadcast from the BBC.

The Past Is Gone...

The boys from Aerosmith on the
Toys In The Attic Tour.
1975 vintage.
It's a great album but not their best
that would be the next one.
Great show,great sound.
Back In The Saddle!

Who Never Conceived Of Us Billion Dollar Babies...

First appearance from Alice at the new HRC.
During his New Wave kinda phase.
Less heavy, more keyboards.I like it tho' and I liked his look
during this period.A total mess but it worked.
A few songs from the new album
but also loaded with classics to keep the diehards happy.

My Blessing Is My Curse...

Fun times with KISS on the Crazy Nights Tour.
Not their heaviest album but pretty successful.
It's a decent audience recording that captures
the pure entertainment of 80's KISS.
Plus I forgot how much Paul yapped between songs
back then.Incomplete,it's missing a couple of songs at the end.
Tape Rip.

I've Got No Future Plans...

Pretty good Radio Broadcast from AC/DC back in 1977.
Some sort of charity show.
But wherever and whatever the show was
they always brought 100%.
Short,sweet & Rockin!!

Take My License,All That Jive...

Sammy Hagar going full throttle back in 1984.
On The VOA Tour live from Detroit.
Pretty good Radio Broadcast and his last
tour before joining Van Halen.
Unfortunately for Robbo this show doesn't feature
Young Girl Blues either.
But we all know the definitive version is on
All Night Long anyway,go dig it out!.

Man,I'm Standing Out in The Rain...

An excellent sounding recording of the Blues man at his best.
A long full show of 23 tracks with great solos and Bluesy Jams.
What a great player he was a real shame that he and his band mates
died in the dreadful helicopter crash in 1990.

I Saw A Light...

The original Robin Trower live album recorded in
Stockholm 1975 and released in 1977 good as it is
was only a single album.Seven tracks long and
always felt like there was something missing to me.
Especially now I recently came across five
more tracks recorded in Stockholm that could
have been on the album, turning it into a great double live album.

Hanging By A Little Thread...

The Who in excellent form headlining the summer Rock Festival
at the Valley, home of Charlton Athletic Football Club in 1974.
Excellent sounding show and I believe this is the full
performance but as there are many
versions of this show around,it may not be.

Can't Never Seem To Slow Down...

The live debut of Bad Company at
Charlton Football Club in South London 1974.
Pretty good sounding recording giving us a
taste of what Bad Company would become in next few years.
