And We're Really Layin' It Down...

A good sounding well known Japanese UFO bootleg titled
Mismanaged (not sure why). From the 1995 reunion tour of the USA,
apparently this two CD set was released in a tin box.
Not quite the classic line up Andy Parker had left and
replaced by Simon Wright on drums.
Featuring two different concerts from Ventura in October 1995.

  1. At that time, UFO was being managed by Michael's partner, Bella (not sure if they were married or not), and may people felt she was the reason for problems the band had on that 1995 US tour. I was at the Hollywood show, and it almost didn't happen, there was apparently some altercation with Michael and bootleg t-shirt sellers outside the venue beforehand. I believe this was the end of the tour, and Michael wouldn't play with UFO again until 1998. That's the story behind the "Mismanaged" title of this release.

  2. Thank you very interesting comments what you say make a lot of sense
There is some pictures of the information that came with this box set online but it's difficult to read but it does mention the T-shirt incident
Thanks again always great to read these comments comments

    1. Your comment got me curious, as I haven't thought about this incident in many years. The Discogs site has copies from an old aol discussion group about this incident, Bella, and the breakup after the Hollywood show. That's probably what you were referring to. It appears Bella was taking money from mail orders for the WoW CD and not sending them. I was fortunate to have bought a CD at the first Hollywood show earlier in 1995, and had it autographed after the show. All the guys couldn't have been nicer.
