Alright here's another artist I'm not familiar with,
Tommy James and the Shondells.
Starting out in 1964 playing that Rock 'n' Roll.
They had a couple number one hits back in the day.
What's interesting is looking at
the setlist you'll recognise a few of those song titles.
The cover versions are more familiar to me,
Billy Idol-Mony Mony,
Joan Jett-Crimson and Clover and the biggie...
Tiffany-I Think We're Alone Now!!
if anybody remembers her from the 80's.

ReplyDeleteCover versions? Those songs are Tommy James & The Shondells original hits from the mid-late '60s. Tommy James co-wrote two of the three mentioned. Crimson And Clover was a monster hit in '69.
