Here's a Band I've Been Re-Discoverin' All Over Again!
I Followed Them From 2000
All the Way to The End in 2010...
Bought All Their CDs and Have Many Bootleg Concerts...
Their Record Label: Universal South
So Wanted to Be Country,
But They Weren't...
Although Some Songs are Country Flavored...
At Their Core CCRW Were a Rock Band...
So, Not Many Folks Knew What to Make or Do
With Them, 'Cept for Their Fans, Like Me!
I Mean You Couldn't Play The Song Dimebag
on Country Radio!
Or, Wanna Rock & Roll on Rock Radio,
'Cause They're a Country Band, Right?
CCRW's Influences were Very Broad:
Willie & Merle, Skynyrd and Southern Rock,
and Pearl Jam and Grunge...
So, If'n You Wanna Give 'Em a Try,
This Is a Pretty Good Concert,
With a Wide Range of Music!
Everything From Acoustic Numbers
to Hard Rockin' Ones from Great Originals
And Some Covers as well...
Also, It's a Rarity CCRW Play BOTH
Carney Man & Boys From Oklahoma!
Love me some Hammer Down. They do a smokin version of Rockin in the free world too. Thank you
