I've Got The Music In Me...
Finally...
Here's That
Marge Raymond
Exclusive
I Mentioned!
It's a Rocket Records Release!
There's 6 Tracks in All...
Datin' Back to 1965...
Marge's Very First Release as a
Professional Singer Are the First
Two Songs, a Single...
She was Just 15 at The Time!!!
Typical 60's Girl Group Music...
(Think Supremes, Crystals, Etc.)
Most of You Will Probably Want to
Hear Tracks 3 & 4:
Renegade!
Supposedly,
It was Joey Kramer's Idea,
As He Felt Aerosmith was about
To Implode...
But Don't Overlook Track 5:
Raceway Rocks by Kicks!
Produced by Felix Pappalardi...
(I Wanna Hear More!)
The Last Song was Recorded for the
Movie: Tiger Warsaw...
(Never Heard of It Either...)
Apparently It Was a Huge Flop...
(Makin' ONLY $400,000)
((Even In 1988 Dollars...That's Not Good!))
But, Wasn't Used!
So, There Ya Have a Short,
And Very Incomplete,
History of
Marge's Musical Journey!
Back When I Was Goin' To School...
Much Like Steve Marriott, When
It's Got the Name Dan Baird Involved...
I'm In!
No Matter The Band Or Who's Backin' Him...
Dan Always Gives a Great Show!
And This Is a Very Good Audience Recording...
With a Bit of Sats, Solo & Homemade Sin!
Get Down!
Get Your Kicks on Route 666...
Another Out of Print Release from
The Iron Maidens!

If You Like Rock N Roll...
Here's an Excellent Audience Recording of
Motörhead!
Live in Halifax in 2005...
Great Full Concert!
If You Listen Close,
After the 3rd Song, I Think,
You Can Hear Some Guy Shout:
"Fuckin' Awesome!"
That Right There Pretty Much Sums It Up!
IF You Don't Have This One...
Rock N Roll Soul...
Here's One Ya Do Not Want To Miss!
Grand Funk Railroad Were Very Popular in
The 1970's...
They Were On The Radio and
Toured All Over The World!
But, Oddly Enough, There Don't Seem To Be
That Many Really Good Recordings
From That Time!?!
But, This IS One of Them!
Excellent Sound Quality!
(Audio from one of those Japanese Laser Discs...)
And an Excellent Performance!
NOTE: This Is Supposed to Be San Diego on the 2nd...
The L.A. Forum Show Is Supposedly the 1st...
Could Be They're BOTH The Same...
Honestly, I Don't Know!?!
AGAIN, DO NOT PASS THIS ONE UP!
Turn It Up...Louder and LOUDER!

From Then to The Now Digital Age!
And, As Always, Thanks to Those That

Weekend at Bernie's...
UFO Steve Sez:
As requested in the comments
(See, It's Good To Comment! Rocket)
UFO with Bernie Marsden
A decent sounding show with Bernie Marsden
during his short stay with UFO
(November 72 to June 73)
At Recklinghausen, DE
June 9th, 1973 Festival.
The old story of him forgetting his passport
for later dates on the tour may not be correct.
As In a more recent interview
he said he recommended to the band that
they ask the Scorpions for
Michael Schenker
as he knew his time in the band
was coming to an end.
Also here's an earlier show with not as good a sound.
1973-04-29
Mannheim (D) Eisstadion POP-Festival
1.) Intro
2.) Move Over
3.) C'mon Everybody
4.) Looking for an Easy Life
5.) Sixteen
6.) Boogie For George
Go Ask Alice...
Once Upon A Time...
There were some guys that started a band.
They came up with a name for the band.
But, over a few years, the lead singer
took over the name
OR
maybe, it took over him?
And, he left the band, and with him,
he took the name.
And, he was forever after known as
Alice Cooper!
Then, many years later...
Almost ALL of the guys from that band
got back together,
(The one not there had a great excuse, it seems.)
For a brief moment in time.

On The Road to Madness...
A King Biscuit Recording of Queensrÿche!
Live on Their First Tour...
Openin' for DIO!
Back in 1983!
It's Just 4 Songs...
(Close to 20:00)
But, What's Here Sounds Good!
I Found Some Artwork and Tinkered
With It Just a Bit...

I've Got the Desert in My Eyes, And the Western Skies on My Mind...
Well, I Had This One Uploaded...
And, Then...
I Deleted
It
and
Started
AGAIN!
Yep...
I Like This Much Better!
It's a Great Soundin' Soundboard!
Badlands - Live at
Mountain View
California.
From Back in 1989!

By Request...
UFO Steve Sez:
Another CD rip from an old bootleg I bought years ago
a bit of a compilation with varying degrees of a sound:
very good to good to poor.
Listen to the BBC announce at the start
for a really old fashioned Style introduction
(very good sound)
Then half of a Zurich 1974 show with Schenker and Chapman
with a nice version of Back to the USA
(good sound)
Then a 1977 sound check which sounds like it was recorded
in an office with the doors opening and closing.
(poor)

The Flame's Gone Out...
I Think Someone Commented on the Other
FLAME
Post 'Bout IF'N They Did Another
Album or Not...
(See, It's Good to Comment!)
Yeah, They Did...
It Was The Followin' Year: 1978...
And, It was Just Called: FLAME...
And, Apparently, This One's
Harder to Find Than The First!?!
There's Some Jimmy Crespo Originals Here and a
Cover of Willie Dixon's Too Many Cooks...
BUT, It's
This Old Heart Of Mine
("Been Broke A Thousand Times...")
That's The Stealer on This Record...
It's a Holland-Dozier-Holland Tune That Was
Written for The Supremes,
But The Isley Brothers
Recorded It First!
(Although, The Supremes Would Record It!)
((Maybe You Heard One of Rod Stewart's Versions?))
(((He Recorded It in '75 AND '89!)))
NOTE: I Wonder How Many Hits Those
Guys Wrote AND Produced?
ANOTHER NOTE: This Is a Vinyl Rip...
BUT, Not As Clean As The Other One!
All That Bein' Said...
I Think You'll Wanna Take a Listen.
Anyway!
And, For Those Of You That Have Been
Smitten by Marge Raymond's Voice...
Watch for an Exclusive Release Comin'
to
Hear Rock City
SOON!

There's a Port on an Eastern Bay...
Well, I've Been Diggin' Out of a Snow Storm...
Mother Nature Dropped 'Bout 10" on Us...
So, Had to Dig Out the Car and Go to
The Store For Some Things We Really Didn't
Need, But, Well, There's Another 3" Comin'
Tomorrow Night!
Me, I Was Just Happy The Power Didn't Go Out!
Oh, Sorry...
Here's an Excellent HEART Bootleg I Would
Go Out in the Cold and Snow to Get!
It's Excellent!
Not Sure Why They Play The Intro to
Crazy On You, Then Not the Song
'Til Later...
That Awesome Line-Up of The Band
Makes For Wonderful Music!
Follow Your HEART On THIS ONE!

Takin' Hold of Louisville...
This is a Pretty Decent Audience Recording of
Queensrÿche,
Fairly Early on in Their Career...
Long Before Too Many Egos and Lawyers
Would Get in the Way of The Music!
Live in Louisville in 1984...
Opening for KISS!
They Had the EP and The Warning...
At This Point!
The EP Showed Potential and
The Warning was a Big Step Forward...
And They Would Make Some Great Music
Goin' Forward for Awhile...
I Guess Everything You Really Need to Know's
On The Back Cover...
