Heard It From A Friend Who...

Nice Radio Broadcast from REO when they were
enjoying big success back in the early 80's.
Hit singles, sold out tours and some
cracking albums.
Plus they had a secret weapon in Gary Richrath
who could spread his wings live and
give us some blistering solos.
If like me you like to pick up the odd
Rock Compilation,Reo Speedwagon
are usually included along with usual suspects
Boston,Toto,Survivor etc etc!

  1. Great setlist highlighting the quality of the Good Trouble release. This has been unfairly slagged off by Cronin but IMHO was a better album than Hi Infidelity.
Not trying to be Mr Picky but the "Unidentified Flying Tuna Trot" has been incorrectly named - It is The Turkey Trot with Gary's Guitar solo on the end of it.
This is almost the full gig - the only missing tracks are Cronins Keep the fire burning, I'll Follow You (The Richrath written stand out track) and the Chuck Berry encore Bye Bye Johnny.
I think this was their prime (in a live setting) - the next album whilst a commercial hit was a retread of Hi Infi and the less said about "Life as we know it" the better. Richrath was sacked as Cronin assumed control and it was downhill all the way.
    Keep up the great work.
