Yes they are still going...I never got to see them back in the day (the 80's reformation version NOT the 70's original..I am far too young for that version) but wanting to hear some hammond organ led progressive music I made my way to The Forge in Camden a new venue and a very nice one at that. And what did I get for my cash?...as it turned out an excellent night of Rock music played by experienced musicians a couple of who played in the original Rooster with Vincent Crane way back in the early 70's.I do think it's important that bands of this ilk keep going and looking around it was nice to see a few youngsters in the crowd enjoying this old school Prog Rock...Enjoy,Ed

Whilst i love Atomic Rooster i can't get behind this. As much as i love Pete French's voice he was only in A.R. for about 9 months. Steve Bolton lasted a little longer, but that was in the later Chris Farlowe fronted version of the band. By all means play the music, it deserves to be heard, but be honest & call yourselves something else, like 'UK Rock Legends Play Atomic Rooster (feat. former members)' or similar. In much the same way as Motorhead was Lemmy, A.R. was Vincent Crane, so there's no way they should be using the name. Vincent is of course no longer with us, and the rest of their classic line up is also deceased (John DuCann & Paul Hammond) so this can in no way be considered legitimate.
