Which of course featured Eric Clapton.
They only made one album,that I do have can't say I've listened to it
too much.Might dig it out today and give it a spin.
Of course it features the classic,Layla.
Duane Allman contributed slide guitar and he's
on this recording as well.

Brother Duane's did far more than "contribute slide guitar". He's all over the D&TD album, picking up the slack for Clapton who was in a bad way at the time due to certain 'habits'.
ReplyDeleteThe whole ensemble were essentially there to cover up E.C.'s shortcomings & it's very much to their credit that they somehow made a rather listenable record despite the group's supposed 'guiding light' being unable to find his ass with both hands at the time.
Sadly, Clapton is the last member of the band who is still living, which only goes to prove the old saying that only the good die young.
