I must admit they're a band I've never heard of.The Grass Roots.
Having a quick look they had some hit singles
and sold a few albums.Apart from that they're American
and if you like 60's Rock it'll be right up your street.
Going by the date this recording should feature the guitar playing of Creed Bratton, more famously known for "playing" the character of Creed in the U.S. version of "The Office."
ReplyDeleteOne of the members of this band was Rob Grill, famous for recording the song Rock Sugar and the LP Uprooted with all members of Fleetwood Mac back in 1979. The legends says it's some kind of Fleetwood Mac incognito LP. I must admit it's a real marvelous LP, great songs, great production, and the incredible Fleetwood Mac touch, especially on the song Rock Sugar. A must listen to.
