This Time The Lights Are Going Out...

It's Def Leppard on the way up touring
their excellent Pyromania album.
Here's audio from a French TV Broadcast.
Overall very good but some of the edits
between songs leaves a lot to be desired.
Only six tunes,is there more?
But! it's classic era Leppard.
Can't get enough of that.

Mayhem's On The Loose...

Classic Rock from the 70's with Ted Nugent.
From San Antonio,Texas.
He's got a loud mouth and a loud guitar
and both are on show here.
If you're a fan of live albums Ted's
Double Live Gonzo is a must have.
For many the classic lineup.

Ted Nugent - Guitar,Vocals
Rob Grange - Bass,Vocals
Cliff Davies - Drums
Derek St. Holmes - Guitar,Vocals

But I Took All The Heartache...

Good Soundboard of Whitesnake promoting their sixth album,
Slide It In.  An excellent setlist still with
plenty of the old blues style .
Including old style versions of Here I Go Again,
Crying In The Rain and Fool For Your Loving.

or

You Gotta Rock And Get Down...

An excellent audience recording from the
Tales Of Rock And Roll Tour in 2006.
Very good setlist with an enthusiastic Japanese audience.
Good all round performance by the band.
Track listings on disc one is different to the back cover
the solos are listed separately.

I'm Not Sleeping...

Bit of a little change of pace for HRC.
Here's Aussie band INXS who were massive
in the 80's with particularly the KICK album.
They were all over MTV with those cool videos.
An excellent record and one of the first cd's I bought.
(All killer no filler & excellent production)
Anyway here they are back in their pomp.
From the San Diego Sports Arena,31st March 1988.

Waiting For The Warning Sound...

This one was a bit hissy and annoying so
I had a go at reducing some of that noise.
And... to me it's a much better listen.
UFO from 1981 on the Wild,The Willing &
The Innocent tour.Sounding great here and Phil's in
a good mood until somebody swipes his belt!
Dunno if it's the complete show I've read a slightly
different running order and one that included
Love To Love.
Anyway it sounds like a soundboard to me,
enjoy.
If UFOSteve has any more info let's have it buddy.

I know there haven't been many uploads lately
I've been busy and also lazy with other stuff!
Eddie has also sent in more of his recordings.
Plenty of good sounds coming,Keep Rockin'!!

Givers Sing The Blues...

An FM radio show from 1987 promoting the
Passion album.
Not the classic bluesy lineup of the 70s.
It now has Davey Patterson on
vocals as he would be on and off
for the next 30 years or so.
A good mix of old and new tracks
and of course plenty of solos by Robin.

Turn Me Loose Tonight...

A soundboard of Paul Rodgers at a Japanese Festival in 2006.
Nice Crowd pleasing set list of classic songs with
Paul's voice sounding as good as it did in the 70s.
A tight sounding band with ex Heart
founder member Howard  Leese on lead guitar.

This Town Never Sheds A Tear...

Here's an excellent sounding soundboard of the
Paul Chapman Project in Chicago 2009.
A setlist full of UFO songs.
With Paul's guitar the star of the show.
I Don't have any info on the band members
if you're a UFO Chapman era fan you'll enjoy this one.

Until I'm Ready (Ready Freddie)...

Here's a rip I did a long time ago from the VHS video.
A long and laborious process.
Anyway still got the video files,
so here's a fresh version.Fantastic compilation
from various years,sources and locations.
The first time I saw this I was blown away.
So much footage. And to this day a lot
of it still unreleased.

The Wind Cried To The Skies...

Robin Trower on tour in 2010 in the UK promoting the
Chrysalis years compilation Album A Tale Untold.
An excellent sounding show full of classic tracks.
With Robin still playing with plenty of feeling.

I Use A Cobra Snake For A Necktie...

As mentioned in the comments the other week.
Two really early Mick Bolton era UFO
shows including the Marquee Club
22nd February 1971,said to be the
oldest live recording of UFO in existence.
Listenable audience recordings
obviously not the best but that's all there is
for this time period I believe.

Shoulder To Shoulder We're Gonna Stand...

 And...here's another great Aussie band
the one and only,Rose Tattoo.
An enjoyable in your face (performance & sound)
from Download Festival 2008.

Going To Set This Town On Fire...

Had to do a little digging on this one cos
back in 1978 AC/DC were not headlining Comiskey Park.
Which before it was knocked down
and rebuilt was the home of the
Chicago White Sox baseball team.
Back to the music seems AC/DC were part of Summer Jam
along with Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush,
Foreigner,Walter Egan & Aerosmith.
Sounds like a decent day out.
Pretty good audience recording that captures
the band on the Powerage Tour.

Forged On Anvils Of Steel...

 Metal Legends Saxon from 1981.
Another show from the Beat Club in Germany.
They've just released a new studio album
and are about to go on tour.
They're supporting Judas Priest with
Uriah Heep third on the bill.
Still bringing the Thunder!

To Make Records With A Mobile,Yeah...

BORN AGAIN by Deep Sabbath or Black Purple
as the UK critics called it at the time of release.
An album that seems to be more popular now than when it was released.
Here are some good sounding unmixed demos recordings
with Ian Gillan screaming up a storm.

Everything Was Better Then...

Budgie at the Hammersmith Odeon opening for
Diamond Head in 1983.
 Nice sounding audience recording.
Short set but it's Budgie doing what they do best,
playing live.

There Is A Voice In My Head...

It's Scorpions in their home country from 2009.
Interesting setlist with some older
songs being played here.
The rest of the set is pretty
much loaded with the classics.
Great sound and performance.

One Flash Of Light...

A Magic Show from the Magic Tour.
Queen spreading their wings and we find them in
Eastern Europe,Budapest.
A pretty famous and well known TV Broadcast.
Managed to find covers that
are very nearly a perfect match for the tracklist.
