in Manchester UK in a few weeks time.
Good sounding recording
With some crowd noise
The new songs sounded great live
A really good setlist
A real shame that it didn't last.

ReplyDeleteA sad time in UFO history. I saw them at the ill fated Manchester gig.
Each tour (and album) during the Schenker reunion seemed poorer than the one before... A little less UFO on stage No Parker then No Paul Raymond.
Relations with Schenker were obviously strained (no interplay or even acknowledging each other on stage).
In retrospect the car crash was probably a good thing. It cleared the air (eventually) Phil got back the UFO name and 4/5ths of the classic line up reformed. (pity Tonka never got an invite).
We've now got the extended and expanded Strangers box set to enjoy and reflect on what might have been......
