Those early Rainbow albums took my head off! Did David Stone do any live shows with them? His playing on Long Live R & R was phenomenal.
Yes David Stone was on tour with Rainbow 1977 and 1978.Then Don airey took his place at 1979.
I agree, simonthecat. The Dio Rainbow albums are classics.Rainbow was a great multi-national band. Dio was from America, Blackmore and Powell were from England, David Stone was from Canada and Bob Daisley was from Australia.
