Watchin' the Full Moon Crossin' the Range...

Here's REO Speedwagon Rollin' with The Changes...

'Cause Changin' They A Were...

This Show comes from the Time Period
Between Their 70's Rock & Roll and
Their 80's Radio-Friendlier Music...

Notice How Nice I Put That...
Makin' Up a New Word in the Process...
Hyphenated, at that...

Those Songs That Would Become BIG HITS
are a Bit More Heavy Here In Concert...

This Was the Summer Before THAT Album
Would Be Released and Beat To Death!

Gary Richrath Was Still In The Band At This Point...

And, He Wrote Some of Those Songs Like
In Your Letter, Take It On The Run, Etc.

NOTE: There's a Disc 2 With The 30th Ann. CD
That Is All Demos...I May Have to Try and Look Those Up?

With This Show You Get The Best of Both Worlds...

REO Go Back as far as Golden Country from 1970,
To The Not Yet Released Keep On Loving You!

And There's That Turkey Music I Never
Get Tired of Hearin'

  1. Yeah It goes to show...the worst thing that can happen to a good rockin band. Too many hits on one album.

  2. The late great under-rated Gary Richrath. Why it took AOR radio to break this band I will never know. Pre Hi Fi is definitely their best work.
    Great post ...many thanks
