nice 1 smoker here's another gig i have not heard for many years,for a short time me and a mate used to dj at the standard on these rock nights and would take turns introducing the bands my highlight being introducing grand slam one night in '84 i remember looking over from the booth to the dressing room waiting for instruction and the man himself mr lynott opens the door and gives me the thumbs up to introduce the band and off we go...to see the legend himself up close on stage was mind blowing... SHY were a band i always tried to see whenever they played london such great songs and in tony mills (rip) they had a top notch singer. ed
