Thanks! Always loved Gary Moore's 80's metal phase. When he went back to blues in the 90's, I was very disappointed and stopped following him (despite his undeniable skill). But those 82-85 albums are pure metal pleasure.
Also thanks for the Praying Mantis. Always considered these guys more of an AOR band than metal (aside from the live one with Paul Dianno). Highly recommend their Captured Live in Tokyo City release for any fans of melodic hard rock.
mistermaniac i totally agree with you regards gary moore during the 80's,i went to see him many times during this period and he never disappointed. i don't mind a bit of blues but after seeing him rock out it just wasn't the same...ed
