Thanks for the post, smoker. I like all things Bowie. I grew up with his classic 70s stuff, but am more enamored now of the final works of his career and life, like The Next Day and Blackstar. It isn't really rock'n roll, more like "modern song". Stunning to these ears.
The beauty of his and any legacy artist for me is that all their artist periods are there to be enjoyed at any time. Cheers.
