Your Back's Against The Wall...
Here's one that hasn't been up in a long time.
Black Sabbath from that old Black And Blue video.
From New York 1980 and of course with
the legendary RJD on vocals.
Fantastic stuff.
I've been reading that their album,Live Evil
is getting the deluxe treatment and will be
released in June.As far as I can make out there
will be two versions of the album plus
some paper goods with a very hefty price tag?
It would be more appealing if it included a
different concert or two.
For me it's a pass.
or
And Now The End Is Near...
December 1st & 2nd are the dates of the last ever Kiss
shows at MSG,NYC.It's been a hell of a ride!!
Can't say I've agreed with everything they've done
but I've certainly enjoyed most of it.
Just yesterday I received another book purchase
from Japan so I'm still buying stuff even after all these years.
To be fair they have been on a farewell tour for about
the last 20 years. So the pension pot
must be pretty full by this stage.
All joking aside they are one of the most iconic
bands ever and they've given me a lot
of pleasure over the years.
I can put on one of their albums and it will bring a
smile to my face (except maybe Carnival Of Souls! lol).
Here's a couple of fun shows from the Crazy Nights Tour.
From Sweden and Japan.
Vinyl Rips.

Get To The Top,I'm Too Tired To Rock...
The Rolling Stones on their long and
very successful Tattoo You Tour.
Here they are stopping off in Edinburgh,Scotland
at a venue that holds approx 3500.
So anybody there that night would have been
enjoying a pretty intimate
show with The Stones.
A decent audience recording
with the pretty much standard setlist
for the tour.
or
Let Us Hear Your Thunder...
Excellent stuff from Melodic Rockers
Danger Danger back in 1990.
Excellent playing and singing with
a pile of fine songs. They were a cool band.
They could be a little Naughty Naughty at times,
but here they are on fire.
A couple of classic covers tagged
on at the end as well.
or
Gonna Send You A Postcard From Hanoi...
Pretty cool compilation from the
Hanoi Rocks members.
A kinda what they did next after they
broke up the first time.
Talented guys for sure.
Tape Rip.

Boogie On, Children
A radio recording at the Glasgow Apollo 1982.
Broadcast by Radio Clyde.
From the 20th Anniversary Tour.
In front of an extremely lively Scottish audience.
Very Good setlist.
No split tracks on this one.
It's cut into 2 mp3 files, so it fits onto 2 CDs.
There are a couple of cuts and jumps.
Otherwise an Excellent recording.
And Disc 2 is an absolutely Frantic
51 minutes of blistering
Quo Boogie.
You Keep A Wall All Around Ya...
This is a Pretty Cool Aerosmith
Live Bootleg Compilation...
Some of Their Best Music,
Live, All on 2 Discs...
Do You Have ALL The Sources

Official Live! Bootleg...
Everyone Should Own That on
Vinyl, CD, 8-Track, Etc.
This Is More Like a Companion Instead...

And Was Officially Replaced by Kulick

He Is the ONLY Member of KISS
Not to Appear on Any Album Front Cover...
KISS: Off The Soundboard - Poughkeepsie, NY 1984...
The ONLY Known Soundboard Recording
With Mark St. John!
Recently Released on CD & Vinyl...
In 1999,
Mark St. John
Teamed Up With Phil Naro
and
Released a CD Called
The Mark St. John Project...
The 1st and Last Tracks Are Instrumentals...
The 3 In-Between Were
ALL Co-Written With Peter Criss...

These Tygers Were Cool Cats...
Tygers Of Pan Tang Took This Old Song,
And I Do Mean OLD...
In 1959, The Clovers Released a Single Version
Of Love Potion No. 9...
(Now, Why Did He Say Single Version???)
Anyway, the Tygers Had Fun With The Song
And Even Made a Cool Video To Go With It!
The Searchers Had a Hit With It in 1964...
Here They Are Performin' It In 1966...
Here's The Original Song Written by Leiber/Stoller...
And, Then There's The OTHER VERSION!!!
The Clovers Actually Recorded 2 Versions:
The Single AND The Album...
The LP Version Contains
Two Extra Lines of Lyrics
Near The End of the Song!

Looking Out Of My Lonely Room...
Another Badfinger Show from MisterManiac...
This One's a Pretty Special One...
The Reason Bein' That It Was Officially
Released (Sort Of...) in 1990
as Day After Day: Live...
But and However, This Ain't It!
*************************************
Just Another Tragic Story Of a Great Band,
That Had Many Tragedies...
Seems Joey Molland Took The Tapes
From This Recording...
And Then He Re-Recorded Vocals and Guitars...
And, Possibly Bass Guitar...
That's Been Done Before on 70's Live Albums!
So, What's The Big Deal?
Then, Joey Removed Mike Gibbins' Drums, And
Replaced Them With a Drum Machine...
With a Truly Horrendous Soundin' Snare Drum!
He Also Re-Arranged The Song Order, So
That The Songs
He Sang Where The First Ones
On The CD...
He Opted to Leave Out the Songs:
Perfection and Suitcase and Suitcase Jam...
And, Apparently, He Did Not Get Mike Or
Any Of The Widows And / Or Families Consent...
Or Provide For Them To Receive Any Money...
So, By The Time The Dust Settled,
The Lawyers Were The ONLY Ones That Made Money...
If Interested, YOU Can Read
More Here At
Anyway, Here's The ORIGINAL Recording from
The Agora in Cleveland in 1974...
It's All Here: Warts and Feedback and Some Hiss, Etc...
And Some Really Great Music!
I Thought It Only Fitting That I Use The Same
Photos For This Badfinger CD Project...
