Happy Birthday, Chicago...Can You Dig It?

The Band CHICAGO Turn 55 This Year...
(Happy Birthday To Them...)

Their First Record (A Double LP) was Titled
Chicago Transit Authority in 1969...

They Shortened Their Name to Avoid
Legal Problems with the Actual Transit Authority...

Usually Thought of as a Horn Band, Folks Forget
'Bout Terry Kath and
Just How Good a Guitarist He Was!

This Is a Rockpalast Show...

BUT, Kinda Like the Naz One...

It's Not Quite Up To Their Usual Level...

Still, It's Quite Good, Though...

NOTE: Thanks to Jim from the Comments Section.
We Figured Out That This Show Could NOT Be
From December 2, 1977...
(That Was The Date on The Alternate Artwork Included...)

It's Actually 12 February, 1977...
'Cause of the Way Dates are Read in
Europe vs The States...12-02-77

And, Terry Kath's Very Last Concert Was:
December 1, 1977 in Oakland, CA...

  2. This concert took place on February 12 1977, but it may have been broadcast on December 2? I'm not sure about the date they played this Germany gig but it rocks.
