Watch That Man Movin' Cross The Stage...

Here's an Oldie But Goode-y...

Chuck Berry Live in 1978...

 At Park West In Chicago...

It's a Good FM Broadcast...

It Was Around (And Around) This Time
He Got Into a Little Trouble for his
Cash Only Payments for Performances...
(And Spent a Little Time in Jail, I Believe...)

'Course He'd Spent a Few Years Way Back When...

Chuck Would Drive Up in his Caddy,
With His Guitar and a Briefcase...

A Local Back-Up Band Was All Set to Go...

After The Show, He'd Take His Guitar and
Briefcase, Now Full of Cash, And Be On His Way...

But, Despite Not Bein' a Great Role Model...
(As a Person...)

Chuck Was Most Definitely a Rock and Roll Model...

Just About Every Band Ever Has Played One or
Many of His Songs...

Enjoy and Play It LOUD!

  1. Saw a bluesman some years ago, before the epidemics, coming to the little town, near Paris, where I live. Plenty of forests around. Believe me. And the guy, not enough paid in the US I guess, was touring Europe with occasional blues bands filling in at each concert. Funny how he sacked the bass player during the concert in Limeil City. You, just go home, he said. And then he continued to play. Don't think he knew he was in Limeil. Just playing the blues all around the world, just to get some cash at the end of the evening.
    Some things never change,
    Derek from Paris,
Just tell me if you want his name :)
Think I should find it back somewhere in my archives...

  2. Rock and Roll is certainly not about being a role model for cub scouts, it's about being a bad ass and getting over.
