I'm Sorry to Be the One To Tell You:
Molly Hatchet Is No More...
Well, There's a Band By That Name
That Releases CDs Every So Often and
Perform Concerts, Etc.
BUT...
There Are 0 (Zero) Original Members...
Bobby Ingram, Who Joined in 1987,
Owns Hatchet Lock, Stock and Logo...
AND...
ALL The Members Listed on the Back
Of This Bootleg Are No Longer Alive!
BUT...
They Left Us Some Great Music!
I Made This Bootleg Many Years Ago...
It's 2 Really Good FM Broadcasts Put Together,
With Only 1 (One) Song Repeated...
SO, Enjoy The Original Molly Hatchet!
I fondly remember downloading this one on the 13th of January 2009. What a nice complementary CD to the official one, and saying to myself waouw the artwork is top notch, the guy doing this is really good. Still love this artwork. I just got it out of my shelf and will give it a new listen during BBQ time this Sunday noon.
ReplyDeleteThanks for bringing up these nice memories.
This is like the philosophical paradox about rebuilding a boat - if over the course of time you replace every original piece of wood, is it still the same boat? This boot is definitely the original boat and then some!
ReplyDeleteComment of the Week!
DeleteThanks, simon
Hard to believe all the original line up are gone, bit like lynyrd skynyrd only gary rossington is left from original line up,I just played the headhunters show its quite good bit more country rock maybe there version of little red rooster is really good.
ReplyDeleteIt's Sad to Think About:
DeleteSo Many of The Bands We Loved Are Gone...
The artwork inspired by 'Double Trouble Live' was a really nice job as Rocket usually does!
ReplyDeleteThe music is better than that '85 live album, lacks energy and suffered from the keyboards-instead-of-guitar-problem that hit other southern bands, Blackfoot comes to mind.
Thanks for the Kind Words...
DeleteGonna see them at the 100 club in few weeks...at the end of the day it's still southern rock and we don't get a lot of that in London...ed
ReplyDeleteI'm Sure It'll Be a Good Show...
DeleteHave a Great Time!
