Here's a bit of a curio.DVD Audio disc from 2003.
There was a series of these but I'm pretty sure they never took off.Today with HD TV's,soundbars,surround sound 5.1
I'm sure it would be a different story.
Can't remember where I picked this up from
but it could only have been for a couple of pounds.
Not sure how many there were or by who but it would be pretty cool to have a few more.
Anyway great stuff from Pat.
Am I the only one who thinks Neil Giraldo is underrated?
He's a tasty player.
totally agree Rocket...Neil is one of THE best
ReplyDeleteNeil and Elliot Easton of The Cars are two of the most concise and economical players of the late 70s/early 80s. Not a wasted note anywhere and you could actually whistle most of their solos- they are that memorable. Neil and Pat are musical magic, for sure.
ReplyDeleteHello, Boston Music Fan here... THANKS very much for this one. Have loved Pat and Neil for over 40 years. I remember seeing them in this tiny venue called the Cinema Lounge in Leominster MA shortly after Head of the Night came out. Your efforts are much appreciated.
